Tutorial Basics of OT.
Okey so I'm seeing a lot of threads in the Support section that is not really that hard.. So i thought, why not make a nice little tutorial with all the basic shit so they don't have to ask all the time
I can connect locally but not from the outside.
Okey what you have to do here is first go to portforward.com and learn how to open port 7171 and 7172 (also port 80 if you use a AAC page)
Then you have to open up config.lua and look for this: ip = "127.0.0.1"
Here you should instead post your GLOBAL IP. You can find it here: What Is My IP Address? Lookup IP, Hide IP, Change IP, Trace IP and more...
Now you should be able to log into the server from the outside.
If not check your windows firewall setting or disable windows firewall.
How do i get access to the 0.4 aka 0.3.7?
First you need to have Donator status which you can get here:

Then go to the private SVN:
Subversion
If you are luck there could already be a compiled version in the premium section here: (Windows users only)

What AAC page should i use.
There are 3 "big" AACs.
Gesior - Developed by Gesior.pl, recently recoded it and can be found here: http://otland.net/f118/gesior-2012-version-1-0-1-0-2-x-0-3-6-all-0-4-a-176677/
I would recommend not using the old version.
Then we have ModernAAC - Developed by Paxton (not on OTLand anymore) and it can be downloaded here: http://otland.net/f118/modern-aac-1-0-a-92880/ or with tibia layout here: http://otland.net/f118/release-best-modernaac-available-free-160536/
Then we got the newcommer, ZnoteAAC (My personal favorite) Witch is ofc developed by OTLand moderator Znote and you can find it here: http://otland.net/f118/znote-aac-1-3-forgotten-server-0-2-13-forgotten-server-0-3-6-0-4-a-166722/

I've used GesiorAAC and want to change to another one is this possible?
Yes! Most of the PHP scripts will not work but it's not that hard to convert or ask someone to do it for you.
Too change aac the only thing you have to do is to switch out the PHP files in you htdocs or /var/www (depending on OS) and then make a AAC installation.
I want to add a donation section too my OT.
Yes this is fairly easy in all 3 AACs so here i will use the words of Gesior.
Please give me a real map 100% working.
No one will do this. (Can promise you that)
If you go to Download section then maps you can find a 9.6 Real Map that is almost 100% and then you have to fix the scripts yourself.
I would recommend working hard on your server not just download and run for the money (You will get hated for doing that).
I am looking for a complete server!

I bought a linux server and don't know how to compile.
You can use a compiling tutorial:

OKEY! Now for some console errors!
First: Console says to decrease the map size (WHAT!?)
This is solved easily.
Eather you compile the exe using 64-bit
or
You use a little program that is called Laatido (Really easy too use no need to explain how)
