Thread: Bird in the sky mapping tip ;)

Hello there everyone, you wonder why only birds can fly on the ground? Well not necessarly!
Here is a tip to make the birds fly in the air with out you can reach them,

Step 1. Go upp two floors and look upp the floor "Void" Item nummber 460.
With Void "460" you can make a ground that you can walk on but the floor is invisible so you will see right throw it!


Step 2. Now place a spawn on the Void, and place a monster for exempel a seagull

And now you are done, when you start your map the birds will be in the sky and fly around with out any player reaching or killing them. But remember they will only move on the void since it can't fly/walk on an empty title.


Things to think off
- Go upp two floors otherwise the player will be able to do "Exani hur upp" or use parcels to get upp to the floor.
- You can use it over anything water, boats, roofs, you name it!

So enjoy your new relistic map with birds in the sky!

but i've also had the idea before. and im sure many others have aswell. It really only works with the +3 floor so players cannot exani hur "up and stuff.

Oh im sorry i didn't know, just got "active again" well another "tutorial" doesn't hurt.
If arkeria was first with it i guess cred goes for them/him/her for being first with it :P

Edit; it works fine with +2 floors, since you can't exani hur upp on nothing

Ah ok, damn well see it as a replay then lol :P

It's a good idea and looks nice when placed well for shots, but (unless it has changed) being underneath void in-game will change your depth of view (the birds and anything on and above their level disappears) which is potentially annoying, although by that time you may be fed up with their random excessive movement anyway.

Void is also good in mass as a level to cruise around on to view a map quickly but unfortunately may have problems on +7(highest level).
