Hi guys,
few weeks ago I bought premium time on my account. When i was premium member I created thread on marketplace, all was good till my premium time expires... Every one who bought something from me was satisfacted from buying. Now when my premium time go down my thread has been closed, I want to ask why. I didnt break any rule and nowhere is written when my premium time expires my thread will be close too. Link to my thread: http://otland.net/f485/cheapest-ori...-lava-battle-boats-rush-td-157251/index8.html

I waiting for response,
Regards GarQet.

It's pretty weird how it works, I've seen some threads where the creator is not/has never been prem and it's still open and some closed because he isn't prem.
Also quote from tala
To answer some questions that were brought up:
No, existing threads by non-premium users will not be deleted. Although we won't help you to keep your very old thread alive by i.e. cleaning it up so you can start selling a OT map when you originally were selling a Tibia character in the thread.
No, your thread won't be deleted when your premium expires.
Weird, isn't it?

Just report them if they are no longer premium, LATE.
Mods are not going to check every day for some member to lose premium.

Things like this is going to stir things up further and get Talaturen one step closer to removing the marketplace as it is obvious that he hates it.

But it doesnt make sense, if tala said

How is that a valid report?

Won't be deleted, but can be closed.

How hard to use marketplace just make a thrend about something you want to sell in opentibia/tibia??

You hope because you are not using or you dont know how to use it but there are some other people that want the marketplace be alive because they know how to use it! :p

The Marketplace is one of the cancerous places that infest and Kill OTland everyday, I also say to delete that crap, it was an erroneous idea to create the Marketplace.

Agree. It only encourages people to sell nothing for something and then go on to want something for nothing.

Correct.

Aha I get it now, but still, I agree with Shin. It only causes problems so the best solution is to deleted them

This thread is not about the purpose of Marketplace but the reason for deletion of this thread.
It will be closed until the one who closed the thread replies with a reason.

I don't think there is anything wrong with the marketplace as it is now. I believe the problems are the sellers, not the board itself. And deleting marketplace wouldn't change that, a user who intends to sell a system for etc 10 EUR will not decide "ohh, I will just release it for free, because I don't have a marketplace board on otland".

I intend to release something big and awesome soon for free here at otland (Znote AAC), which I have spent months on developing(Aprox 3000 lines of PHP code). I don't wish a single penny for this, so I am able to distribute my initial product and framework.

And then I can sell on the marketplace some innovative extentions to my AAC, for those who wishes to have it, afford it and wants to support me. If my initial free product is lousy, the income will be bad, but if my product is good, and people who can afford it think I deserve it, that its worth a penny, then I can earn money, even as an open source developer. Who supports the open community.
