I just want to know if there's anything we as players can do, like Ping/ddos this BR scumbag back. and if, How?
And also, is there not any kind of protectional service for bigger servers like this? I mean, you got alot of traffic and it should be protected by your host. I hope you can give me an answer to my questions. Especially the first one, just tell me what/how to do ill fuckin rock him 168 hours per week. that's 24 hours per day for you who can not count.

As of being a player I do not think DDoSing back to the DDoSer is not going to solve anything, but currently the servers doing fine because it looks like Mark and her workers at the Data Center are working with the situation. Since changes on the website "504 Gateway Time-out" which did not pop up before. So I'd guess that they are fixing it right now.

And for future information the server should of handle small DDoS attacks and Mark if you read this, please put of a stickied thread about these situation so theres not created mulitple threads and sorry if something I've said is wrong, just trying to calm people down

Fighting fire with fire has never been a good idea. As Talaturen has stated before, we're doing what we can to stop the attacks and ShadowCores is in a datacenter that claims to be able handle DDoS attacks. Obviously, the way OpenTibia servers currently work, it is IMPOSSIBLE to be immune to DDoS attacks.

They are hosted on a data center. If they DDoSed they could of taken their IP. Checked him up and seen that he owns the competing server which may be 1-3 in otservlist.org and could actually acusse them of DDoSing.

There is a program out that is free, that "anonymous" uses to DDoS for an example Swedish Goverment.

People these days... Cipsoft can protect their server because it is a fucking company..
And Open Tibia servers are impossible to be 100% immune to DDoS and that have even Hani said himself.

Not really... They are a company, you will have a bill of 10000 bucks waiting at your door..

ecently, many players experienced connection problems such as mass kicks which were caused by heavy DDoS attacks.

In order to alleviate the negative impact these attacks obviously have on your gameplay experience, all temple NPCs will hand out all blessings which are available in Tibia for free and for all players from tomorrow's server save on. You can get the blessings repeatedly so just ask a temple NPC for "blessing" in order to get protected. This option will be kept ingame until further notice.
