Remere's Map Editor needs hardware accelerated graphics for a smooth experience. Mos VPS's does not offer this and therefor there's probably no solution. :(

Even 10 Mbit connection is enough for OT servers, guaranteed! RAM is the most important thing, at least when using big maps.

For smaller works and adjustments there is nothing better than Audacity. It even beats professional tools such as Cubase and Sonar in my opinion. For bigger projects I like Sonar though. :)

This is called dynamical IP. You can't do anything about the IP except trying to get a static IP from your ISP. A solution might be using No-IP Dyanmical IP client that automatically updates the hostname (xxxxx.no-ip.org) to the new IP.

What do you mean? XAMPP itself is not even a program. It's many programs combined to make it easier setting up a web server with dynamical pages.

I like it very much. It's much better than the previous system but I don't like the lack of backward compatibility with the old system since I've got a lot of scripts I rather want to slowly rewrite.
