SO unfair, I think it is easier to type words in some languages than others lol.
Visit the Typing Test and try!I am actually considered the fastest typer in school, got upto 128 wpm on my computer test.
Just for fun, I pressed as many keys on my keyboard as I could (mind you I wasn't typing real words, just random characters) and only produced ~1,500 characters in one minute.
If the average word is 5 letters, that's ~300 wpm.
Thought it would be interesting to see how practical "200wpm" was.
As for tests like these, I average around 100wpm; my record was around 112wpm.

On a test I once hit 148 words per minute at 100% accuracy. But honestly I've found it depends on what keyboard I am using.
