Hey, i am looking for buying a VPS, but the prices of most sites are more expensive than the prices of that service, and the prices of it are very adjusted, maybe I try it, but one question what is the best S.O to host a server ?, and what version of this S.O ?

What do you mean with S.O?

Why is the Speedtest you posted from France if the servers are supposedly located in Germany?

@Damon provides Debian 7 for the linux servers.
I would say linux is the best choice to host on.

You should provide a linux OS for TFS 1.1 also.

Update: I just checked their information about Datacenter again and they seem to have switched it for they apparently now also work closer together with OVH which is why some of their servers may be located in France. Thank you for your feedback!

I agree with @HalfAway and I am already talking to my server provider about debian 8 and ubuntu to be implented and they plan to do this soon

Update:
Today I have good and bad news for you guys. Let's start with the bad one: Our hosting provider has reduced their amount of HDD Storage per Server without a change in the prices, which applies for our servers unfortunately aswell.
However, the disk space should still be more than enough for the various hosting plans. What I mean is, that the average person which rents the smallest hosting plan doesn't consider running a huge project on it thus the reduce of disk space doesn't affect this person. When someone however has a bigger project, naturally, he would go for a larger hosting plan anyways due to needing more RAM, or w.e. and then he will also find himself stuffed with more than enough disk space to use.
The good one is, that we are now able to offer you Ubuntu and centOS in addition to debian, to give you more variety in terms of OS to choose from Also we are about to develope a cool new feature which is developed especially for OTS.

Hello Otlanders,
This is rather important news:
Due to me having alot of schoolwork to do and having my final exams coming up in 3 months, I have rare free time. Thus I have decided on offering this hosting service Otland exclusively and will lock/shut down the public website to prevent regular people from buying the VPS for non OTS related projects. Doing this I will have more time to focus on my final exams and not too much hours spent in maintaining and updating the website/ticket system etc.
All services will keep running as ordered. Existing VPS are NOT AFFECTED in any way by this measure. If you want to rent a VPS simply PM me After I have finished school in July 2015 I will be sure to bring back the website to the public again.
