After some time and after a lot of progress and work, CsTibia is finally ready for the official release.
Website: Http://CsTibia.com
Online time: 100% (24,0 hours/day)
Type: Custom Server, Custom Map
Exp: custom 1x
Map Status: 9 maps, more will come
We have set a time today at 16:00 CET to launch the game.
The game isn't PG-based, it's more Fun-Based.
Which means you login to have some fun whenever you want to but it wont be a problem for people who don't want to play more than 5 minutes/day.
If you need a few hints about the game, you'll find it right here:
http://cstibia.com/?subtopic=information
Start Playing:
When you login with a newly created character you will login at a "tutorial".
The tutorial will take 1-3 minutes depending on how fast you can read/understand it.
You can skip the tutorial anytime pretty simple by asking NPC's to "skip".
However it's recommended to take those 1-3 minutes to go through with the tutorial, it's very simple but will open up your eyes how weapon works and how money works, it will make it a lot easier for you to play without having to ask others about every single thing
Once you're done with tutorial, you will spawn at the current map and be placed in the team with least players online.
You may have a bomb to plant, bomb to disarm or hostages to save, depending on which map it is.
Killing your enemies will give you exp/cash depending on their level.
Vote:
Each map will last for 15 minutes.
When it's 110 seconds left for next change, all players will be able to vote for which map should come.
The map with most votes will be the next map and will be announced 10 seconds before the change.
If there's no votes on any map, it will be random between the existing 9 maps.
Spawn-protect:
Whenever you login or respawn, you will be protected for 3 seconds to avoid mass-murder by one team by standing at the other teams spawn and kill them before they can do anything.
Web Information:
On the website you can see which map is currently running and how long time it's left of that map.
You can also see the current kill-stats of the teams for the current map and the online-page displays each teams members with kill/death scores. which also is shown map by map.
Client:
The client doesn't have item-hotkeys.
It has graphical options.
Client looks like this:
Ingame:
This screen comes from the map "Poolday"
This screen is also from Poolday, showing a Terrorist that's about to turn on the bomb:
And this screen is from the map "Two Churches" showing a bomb that just went active
That's all I can think of atm..
I hope you will give the game a try and that you'll enjoy it!
