OTStatus - OTS Server List

Hello guys,
I want you to have a discussion about OTStatus on OTLand.

OTStatus is my new Server list for Open Tibia and I would like to discuss with you guys, since I haven't been on OTLand nor working on OTS for years.

Anyway, if you run a server, then I suggest you to add it to the server list so you can get more players.

I am working hard on the SEO of the site, which I need help with by the way. If you know much about SEO and would like to lend me a hand, you can PM me on OTLand and I will try to get back to you as soon as possible.
So... I haven't been on the OT Server community in a long long time, so I am here to ask you guys, what's new? What do you want to see on a Toplist for OTS when you go to search for a server? Take a moment and look at OTStatus, and tell us what we need to change or what you would like to be unique for this Toplist to exist.

I created this toplist because other toplists seem to be dead to me, not dead as in it gets no visitors but dead as the owners/developers haven't made any updates in years. I might not have been on this community for years but the toplists have been the same ever since.. And here I am, guys, if you want a new updated toplist, you can use OTStatus, if you don't run a server, perhaps you can suggest some friends or server owners to add their server to the toplist? More servers increases the SEO, so more people should find us in Google. Another thing that increases the SEO is backlinks, so if you put OTStatus link on your website, then we shall get better SEO.

I like the list itself designwise, but I think everything above of that could be improved abit(make it look like otservlist.org but waay more modern?).

Also, if you want to better the SEO then I got some ideas for you

Also, I forgot to mention that the search is not working 100% yet, I will work on it when I got time.

I also would appreciate it if you would refrain from making such hih prices like 15$/month for advertising and 35$/day for countdown. Last seems way too expensive. And yes i do know otservlist/otslist prices but thats not human to begin with^^ If this is a list for the Community, then make it community friendly

As a fellow Webdesigner I have to warn you that you are missing essential legal things like imprint, TOS, Limitation of Liabilty and such.

Looks nice, clean and stuff..
But what makes this servlist.org any different from others (other than design)?
I am not trying to be offensive, just asking if you have some awesome plans for the future.

About the prices, well, I don't expect anyone to buy anything yet, I am not trying to make any money. I want the SEO to become good so the site gets atleast 1k unique visitors everyday through google (which is a hard thing if OTStatus doesn't get in the top 3 results when you search for stuff like "OTS" "OTServ" etc.) But hey, we won't stop.

Well, it's just like comparing Gesior & Znote AAC, Gesior is better because it was made in a era when most people played Tibia & Znote is now.. However, Znote is now getting better because it's alive and the other one is dead, even though servers still use it.

So in this case, Gesior = OTservlist & Znote = OTServlist.
But I made this thread to get suggestions on how to make it better, in the meantime, I want you guys to add your servers to the toplists so it gets better SEO.

You just created that list to earn cash from advertise / countdowns? Lol, I don't believe.
You won't get cash from that list, trust me. There is already hundreds of otslists.
Anyway, otservlist.org was and will be most used list of servers, noone will beat it.

I didn't make this to make money, lol. I run http://GamingToplist.net, which is going Well for runescape servers.
I Made this toplist because I want you guys to get a new toplist, a more functional one.. Since I have good knowledge about toplists, I decided to start a Tibia one.

I will do that, but I guess app is also good to make since players quit servers all the time and start looking for new ones.

Really, there isn't any need for it to be responsive.. Let's face it, who's going to go to their phone to check for a server when they have a PC in front of them?

There are plenty of people visiting websites like this with their phones, I'm wondering what makes you think otherwise? Also, a responsive website will adapt to the screen size and there are computers with small/big monitors so the purpose is not only to make it work for phones.

The design is responsive, but only up to like 400px width or something, so tablets & computers are fine, phones are just average

I know what responsive is. I meant that it doesn't need to be responsive for phones. As @up said, it's already working for different resolutions. Maybe you should check that first.

OTStatus is a Open Tibia Server List. Our goal is to become very big through google so we can provide players to the servers on the list. All the OTS Lists seems dead, by the look of it. And by dead, I don't mean that they don't get visitors and that people use them. I mean that they stopped getting updated, I have seen the same design and style ever since I made my first OT. I want you people to see something new, something more simple, something without advertisements besides "promote" and "countdown" since that's what you are looking for eventually.
When I googled "Tibia List", I found sites like "http://ots-list.org/" which has a design that will burn your eyes by just looking at it. So of course I wanted to make a Tibia server list since I already know how to run a toplist (Been running my other toplist ever since 2011)

So if you guys got any unique ideas which you would like to exist on a OT list, just send me a PM, explain the idea and stuff and hopefully, if the idea is good, then we will use it.

By the way, I forgot to mention that I added some of the servers myself, I took them from OTServlist and added the to OTStatus manually. But if your server is in the list and you would like to get it removed, change your server motd to "otstatus.com-delete"
