Lately I've been thinking about what will happen to everything I have on my pc:
and specifically, to let communities you care, know that you passed away.
Yeah, sorry for the morbid theme, but I found it necessary, specially after watching this video:
Why the hell did I posted it at technology?
The answer is simple, facebook for example have a few useful settings that you can assign trusted people to manage your profile in case of death and etc.
Google account have a setting to remove your whole account if you don't login for a set amount of time, etc.
What I'm asking?
Is there any known software or other thing that would deal with this type of stuff?
for example, I set a trusted rl person and he could trigger a remote program or send an email or something
and it would send a few folders to github/gdrive/etc (and delete a few files/folders from my pc that I don't want anyone to have access ever), and a preset message with instructions to a few email addresses.
Remember: no, I'm not killing myself, or planning to die anytime soon
I just want to have some sort of plan to make the stuff on my pc useful since I won't be using it anymore ()
And let people know what happened as they have no rl contact whatsoever and just disappearing out of a sudden would just be weird and confusing
- projects nobody ever knew
- private photos
- releases planned for the community
- paid stuff
- art stuff
- game accounts
