Today(following this guide), I tried to install MySQL and Lighttpd, it was all ok, until I tried to open the website, it gave me error 403 - Forbidden, so I'm wondering if anyone got this problem, or know how to solve it.

maybe you have nothing inside htdocs/www/whatever the folder is called :p?
try placing an index.htm there as a test :p

Had the same issues when trying Ubuntu the first times,
I could not get Lighttpd to work for me, so i installed apache2 instead of Lighttpd and it worked flawless.
