Tibia is one of the most successful massively multiplayer online role-playing games.
In an MMORPG people from all over the world meet on a virtual playground to explore areas, solve tricky riddles and undertake heroic exploits.
Acting as knights, paladins, sorcerers or druids, players are faced with the challenge of developing the skills of their selected characters, exploring a large variety of areas and dangerous dungeons and interacting with other players on a social and diplomatic level.
Besides the sophisticated chat tools it is especially the unique freedom players enjoy in Tibia World RPG, that create an enormously immersive gaming experience.

Tibia World RPG is based in a game create by CipSoft, I decided to go back to that Tibia version to remember the good old golden Tibia days.

But wait, Tibia World RPG is not like all other old school servers that you have played or will play!
Over the years, CipSoft with your updates, was getting worse, but it is clear that many of these updates were excellent, as the map updates (several new details embellishing the map, more places to hunt, more quests), new spells, new monsters and new mysteries.

What I decided to do, is nothing more than bring the best Tibia updates to my server, now you wonder, but wait, if your server is version 7.72, how can you bring the recent updates?

After a few days rewriting alot my source code, I managed to make my engine, accept all the newer updates!

In short, you will enjoy almost all of version 8.6 with the old school gameplay!
At this time, you showed your true skills, without the use of hotkeys, only your hand, mouse and keyboard.

This project sounds interesting, though I personally dislike oldschool (because I do not like living in the past), I still wish you guys all the luck and hope you guys stay dedicated :)

That's because you don't test it, only 3 guys played, one TFS developer (Tryller) and 2 rl friends.

Tibia is an MO? How did you work that out when it says 'Tibia is a Massive Multiplayer Online (and of course role playing game) which equates to MMORPG.

Better solution would be download tibia 8.6, downgrade it to 7.72 and disable hotkeys. Agree with Damon it's not oldshool.
 
No, you don't understand, my distro/engine is already done (have my own systems), I'm workin' now in quests, map bugs, npcs....
In client 8.6, you can't edit potions or vials to make it unstackable, will debug (I think) and some other shits.

My Server = No stackable potions, runes and vials / no addons / no mounts, and alot more, just the good old school feeling.

that might be a lil over the top with damage and healing but u kno what i mean i was watching a video for 8.6 or what ever and one guy was TRapped had 6 players 3 demon skeletons orc zerker and 2 mino archer......and he was lasting for 5 minutes.....cmon man pvp nowdays is fuckin bullshit thats just my opionin.:p

OLDSCHOOL TIBIA WAS THE BEST GAME ON THE PLANET UNTIL THE STUUUPIIID UPDATES WHYYYYYYY I FELT LIKE KILLING MY SELF I was alone at home 3 days ago and tried to hang myself with an electric cord but the curtain railing came down and I only ended up with bruise on the head and neck. When my mom asked what happened I told her that I slipped and grabbed onto the curtain and the railing came off.

Old spells have the old formula, they are very accurated! (based in version 7.4, like U.E 800 mana)

That's not my server, I sold it to a team, I'm not hosting it or administrating it!

My server have the exactly exp formula from Tibianic (Iryont gave to me), just look the table ;]

This is possible as it's also possible to make 7.7 potions stackable ( if someone wanted to ).

In 7.7 I know it's possible, I remember that MasterCores/EliteOTs did it.
But after looking some diffs from 8.6 client and 8.6 items.otb, I think it will debug!
Only if the server make a custom client and everyone login by the client.
 
Cant wait to play i actually had this similar kinda iDea but i have no clue on how to make Ots haha so i was shit outta luck waitin for someone with the same idea to come around and here it iss! ahah =)
