Suggestion Thread URLs

I was thinking about changing URLs like this for better organization.
Instead of "showthread.php?1-Thread-Title" for example URLs would look like this "threads/1-Thread-Title".

What? We already have friendly URL's. It's not going to create better organization if we change it to another format, it will only have impact on our SEO.

Not that im 100% active here, but still, this might be better.

And still the ex here. f15 for this forum insted of otland.net/feedback/.... or just feed alot easier to find and make urls.

It's not going to make it easier for anyone because they will still need to know the thread id, it will just have impact on our SEO and we will have to redirect all the old URL's which is just completely unnecessary because there is nothing wrong with our current format.

Friendly URL's are not there to make it easier to find content (ok, we've managed to make it easier to find members with it, but that's because usernames are unique!), two different forums can share the same name and that would cause a conflict, that is why we use the forum id. Search Engines don't care that much about the URL path content anyway, it's mostly the domain name that matters.
