Complaint Adfly links...

When I posted in the download section to release my Evo map, it was rejected I guessed because of the Adfly links.

Now, when Amiro~ posts his modernaac pack, its approved?

Just a general question asking why mine was refused and his was accepted.

(I released my datapack a few weeks~ ago and a moderator downloaded it because I saw Visit:1 on adfly links).

I was the one that deleted it (I handle like 95% of the downloads)
Using Adfly links has nothing to do with it, you probably had something in your datapack that wasn't accepted(dlls, exe, ...)
At that time(around march) I would just delete the threads and wouldn't notify the user as to why it was deleted(I know, my bad, but I do that all the time now!)

The file is already down, so I can't say for sure the reason, but that's the most likely reason, the only limitation I impose regarding links is that it should allow anyone to download without asking for a registration

Possibility that you still have this datapack?
I reformatted my laptop, the links dead & I'd like to delete the .exe files etc and reupload.

I don't keep the files, especially when they are that old, I keep 2 weeks tops before I delete them..

because its a datapack, not a distribution

a datapack must only contain the following:

The data folder
A possible mods folder
A possible docs folder (in case you want to give some documentation, all files must be .txt)

Almost no one uses them, of course that if everyone starts using them some sort of rule might be brought in, but as of now, I don't think there's any rule against adfly links
still, its not like it gives you a fortune lol

Funny, because most of the shit released with adf.ly links here isn't made by the "developer".
I might as well start using filecash so that I can earn money by forcing people do surveys.

Surveys in my country all require the user to write their phone number(which is obviously a scam), so I wouldnt approve those links either way

If you close it right away it's either something you don't need or simply don't care much about it.

Sorry but in my neighborhood every 2 months the neighborhood manager or whatever it's called hires people to lawn everyone's front and backyards. And if you're going to say walk the dogs, the only people who have dogs also have kids, and the kids are the ones that walk the dogs.
