My point exactly :x but in all seriousness, you guys could at least look into the problem before slandering me on the forums. It could have been many things... people sharing accounts, accidentally using the same password somewhere else (even if you don't remember), key logger, the list goes on. It is even possible that the owner of Ascalon did some sort of rollback or something. I really don't care if anyone believes me or not, but honestly I was not the cause of this so if your account was compromised and you know for a fact without a shadow of a doubt that you have not used that same password anywhere, then you might want to look into cleaning up your pc or asking Ascalon if its possible they rolled your character back at some point.
 
This actually happened to me on a different OT also, I logged onto a real map OT and both of my chars info's got changed, but mine on Ascalon are fine, and I use the same name on every single ot :X

@Fare, found a bug. When you get a mission from Siuan, once it's completed, you go back and you're supposed to say "hi, mission" as its bolded in blue, but I said "Hi, yes" instead and my guy got the blue sparkles, no reward, and she said "00:20 Siuan: Okay, great! Come back for reward once you'll be done with 48 bog raiders." So, no reward, re-got the task, annoying. :p
 
ok so.. fuck mages/wizards on this server. no doubt the worst classes. I have full g5/g6 set and im a wizard level 190 and my friend outdps me SO HARD! oh yeh btw he is a CRUSADER. THE TANK.

What the fuck i cant deal half that damage. And im wizard with 800 hp focused on PURE DAMAGE and he still outshines me in dps? As a crusader with over 3k hp and 70% resists and 6k manashield? And i even lost my sio so atm im totally useless as lvl 200 wizard.

Edit: Now he is level 205 and with good weapon. Still a crusader but now he deals 3k dps. This is normal? Oh yeh 3310hp + 6620(magic shield) 70%defense bonus so he tank the world also.

@Hacked guys, I can ensure that it wasn't my move, there were no rollbacks. However I may admit that if server using sha~ encryption, its nearly impossible to guess your password even for owners.

@down, no; its fine, any feedback is welcome and I will surely take a look at balance. Just had a hard morning, nevermind, sorry.

meh, I didnt even make you down in any kid of way Lol :D I said that I usualy take infos 2 times and I generate tham randomly wile I have a pool of 9 letters/numbers that I mix, the password is the same way. So its difficult to learn tham out of mind every mont hi swap servers xD I didnt say that its ur fault, seems like some dude just buttfucked me... Sad for BlinkZ tbh..

Just tested you example. I guess you was comparing Nowii with yourself. Indeed, his dps looks very strong, 2300~(at my tests) vs your dps of 1600. However, lets look closer. Compared your strike DPS and AOE DPS, I see wizard doing more damage, so weapon is the reason. Lets compare your weapons:
You see an legendary thaian sword of rending [+90 damage] (+10) (Atk: 258-430, Grade: 5) VS You see a lunar staff of luck [+8% chance to deal a critical attack(180% damage)] (+2) (Atk: 127-163, Grade: 3)
Pretty much huge difference in weapons are you see. Lets test your DPS with equal weapon now(You see a legendary hailstorm rod of rending [+90 damage] (Atk: 230-297, Grade: 5). Even if you got 19% damage penalty due to wearing high grade, your DPS is average 2100 damage, while his dps is 2300. Indeed, there is still some kind of unbalance, but he is 30 levels higher, using lvl 200 strike spell and level 190 AOE spell(you was level 187 while my test), aswell as he got just 9% damage penalty instead of 19%. Lets add you some levels, to use equal level spells. Your DPS goes up to 2500 at normal state and goes to 3000 while using advanced concentration, while crusader got no attacking state spells.

So! I admitting that there is still a balance issue, as difference in DPS is pretty low, however its not that bad as you said =) Also I havent yet tested survivablity, so its gonna be confirmed aswell. Thinking its more like green dragons issue, just tried to block orc overseer's and 4 of them making more problems than 6 green dragons due to dragons waves which can be dodged.

p.s. yeah, i forgot +10 on his weapon aswell

@Fare Nice tests ^^ I use hailstorm of luck atm tho but the issue is just that the dps diffrence is too low to be playing a wizard. And his survivability is outstanding. We also did some tests in pvp and when he did his liquidum combined with priests lepidus i deal 60/120 damage to him in pvp with my spells and wandz. He can outheal me with exura and then when he started hitting me he did 800+ damage in a single strike + autoattack and perma stunlock aswell
 
Patches 1.01 and 1.02 were released during last days, aswell as we starting to accept PayPal and Mobile donations.
  • NPC Siuan was added to temple, now she offers a daily killing tasks for everyone who is interested(Need level 40, to start deal with her).
  • Fixed magic shield to work properly(you can get magic shield by eating green fish or having items like protection amulet).
  • Knights and archers now regenerating mana properly on trainers, mages are supposed to lose their regeneration there.
  • Blessing price was lowered to level * 5 amount for each bless.
  • Slightly lowered prices of 100+ level potions and runes.
  • Chicken feathers loot chance increased by 10%, red piece of cloth loot chance increased by 1-2% from each of Tribals.
  • Lowered hardness of Eric's arena bosses.
  • Fixed bug with NPC's(they were saying that player has no capacity to buy an item, even if played had enough of).
  • Lowered promotion price to 25k of gold, added some tips about passing promotion quest.
  • Archers spirit runes now provide some more mana and lower amount of health.
  • Gambler maximum bet is limited to 5000 gold now.
  • Fixed unjustified kills for skulled players.
  • Increased loot rate from level 180 monsters for a little.
  • Trade channel added.
  • Lowered prices for some NPC services.
  • Event surviving was balanced a bit, also now there is a chance to get event token even for losing it(and rest of events also). Limited amount of players who are able to join various events.

  • More detailed monsters review, mostly increased strength of 235+ level monsters.
  • Overall increasing of loot rate for about 10%, also corrected a little drop rate of quest items from lancer beetles, earth elementals, lizard dragon priests, lizard legionnaires.
  • Monsters now displaying their armor and resistance in description.
  • Lowered chances for items to become magic/rare/legendary for items grade 4+.
  • Potions prices lowered.
  • Daily tasks pricing is raised on lower levels.
  • PvP protection now displayed ingame with green shield.
  • New item available in temple: License to kill(allows you to kill a player ignoring PvP protection(but not players with level lower than 50)). Can be bought for 1 event token.
  • Now its possible to transform any melee weapons between types(sword >- axe >- club) just by using weapon on itself.
  • Fixed golden dragon corpse.
  • Priest's 'Enchanting' spell now has a range of 4.
  • Fixed a bug when upgrading a shield wasn't displayed.
  • Spirit Runes now provides a little bit more mana and less health.
  • Added a level requiring tiles for most of abuseable quests.
  • More fixes for most urgent minor bugs reported during those days.

Glad to see the server so active. The early stage of the game has been made a bit more fast pased then the last season it was online, so new characters can still catch up with the top players ^_^
 
Amazing game Fare, this one is one of the best ones I ever played coming from you.. Congratulations, and aswell everything looks perfect; Except the boters, should be try to abvoid that by reports cming form the commuity and staff. Good Job and keep it up, updating the server ;).

Patch 1.03

  • All weapons damages were reworked and nerfed. I never looked closer on that issue, and it was a very big mistake of me. At first, weapons damage was scaled wrong way, like grade 3 weapon had 80 more damage than grade 2, while grade 6 just 50 damage more than grade 5. Sounds wrong? Indeed. So, all weapons damage was lowered, however damage scaling from grade to grade was optimized. Based damages before(by grade): 50/90/170/250/330/380/450. Now it looks like: 45/80/130/190/260/340/430. This also fixing some balancing issues which I had on hold. I understand that such a change sounds very bad for everyone, but this is a must.
  • Item sets! Since now, for wearing items of same grade(helmet, armor, legs, boots AND shield(for mages and knights), you gain bonus to attack, defense and healing modificators.
  • New outfits system, since now for each full outfit unlocked, your character receive a permanent bonus(all bonuses are displayed on login).
  • Magic walls and wild grown fields now displaying their duration.
  • Stuns and roots are also displaying length of condition. (Keep in mind, that stuns has much lowered duration incase they are stacked or given in a short amount of time)
  • Mages mana runes prices were changed a bit, also increased amount of recovered mana at higher levels.
  • Priests Holy Blast spell, aswell as wizards Frost Nova was removed as level 260 AOE spells and added as level 310 AOE spells.
  • Recounted mages AOE spells formulas based on current magic levels, overall increasing of damage for all mages AOE spells of level 100+ and above.
  • Fixed description on magical items, in places where items got different value based on players vocation(f.e. health items were saying same amount of health for every player, while knights were receiving more health from those items)
  • Fixed a bug which caused wrong math on players armor and resistance when player was using upgraded items. In many cases, upgraded armor and resistance wasn't counted properly on upgraded items.
  • Tickets price for monsters racing was lowered to 1k of gold.
  • Added !kills command, to display total monsters killed.
  • Lowered red skulled monsters level increase, aswell as increased loot rates for both, white and red skulled monsters.
  • Ability stones and magic gems displaying more info about 'luck'
  • Changed about how damage is being filtered in PvP, which actually caused increasing of PvP damage by 10-20%.
  • Rare and legendary items becoming more rare on higher grades.
  • Experience reward for crafting was increased a bit.
