PurePVP originally started out about 5 years ago when it was a 8.1 server. It was always packed with players from all over the world. It was a custom map for the most part, including some of the better parts of the Real Tibia Map.

We are going to make this again a PVP-E server with a lot of customized tibia elements to bring back the uniqueness of PurePVP.
This server will have a custom map for the most part, as you will see some of RL Tibia. There will also be custom items, monsters and quests.

Below I have linked a video to show the PVP. This was of course the higher-leveled players battling it out in Rookgaard.

This server brought great PVP, with it's own unique items and spells. It had it's own unique feel to it and that is what we are trying to bring back. We want to bring back and plan on bring back the custom spells, items, etc. to resurrect the server.

We are currently in development stage at the moment, BUT we would like players to begin playing, so that you could give us feedback and make this server better and point out bugs and it's flaws. Players who help out in it's development stage will also be granted something nice at the time of the release of the server! We hope to see players, both new and old, online. We would love to have some of our veterans to get on for more feedback and to be able to tell us what they liked about the old server, so that we can implement that into the new server!

I am the owner of the server. My name is Jonathan, you will most likely find me in game on Jonathan, God, or Fujin. Like Lucid said, we ran a server in the past and our intentions are to bring back the fun times of the old server while keeping everything balanced as time progresses on.

Right now the maps/content are in development and the community is still very small. Even though the server is currently in the "development stage", we are hoping to get the community growing and get everyone's feedback on the current content and possible ideas for future content.

As I've mentioned before, the server is still in progress, so there is still a bit of work for me to do. Although, everyone is welcome to come on and see what I have been working on. All the feedback I can get the better. I want to make sure this server isn't just headed in the direction I want it, but rather where the players want it.

Von, are you keeping the same style of progression?

It's one of the things I really enjoyed about your server. People competed for the spawns to have a small chance at looting a really good piece of gear. Not only was it difficult to kill, but finally looting an Ancient Weapon was amazing. You should take that concept and expand on it.

Also, bless island is a must. The amount of traps there was incredible. I had to macro "Hi, Blessings, Yes" so I could live once I entered.

Hey Eiffel, I'm really trying to aim for the same style server/gameplay and what not. What I'm really trying to focus on is making the level progression pretty consistent, fun and exciting while trying to avoid people reaching such immense levels as in the last server. I feel like this will keep things a bit more balanced. Although, nothing is set in stone yet and everyone has a say in what may be a possible future for Pure PVP. I would love for everyone to hop on, try some things out, look around, and leave me some feedback to try and help make this a unique server with a fun and growing community!

Hello everybody!

Not many people have gotten a taste of Pure PVP as of yet. I would just like to state that I am still working on the project and I have gotten a good amount of content added in. There is a major mountain that is designed as a "beginner" area, and I plan on having it well suited up to higher levels. There are going to many quests in this mountain that can be completed alone, and some that will need a team or other unique methods. I am planning on designing a teleport room that will be in the city of Thais(which will be edited with a dark/gloomy look). Players will be able to leave the mountain at any time and head for Thais, but any unfinished quests or rewards located within the mountain will remain unfinished for that character, forever(even if you decide to go back to the mountain at a later time).

I am planning on designing some sort of quest or exit that will be intertwined with many of the caves within the mountain, as a "normal" passage to Thais or other cities(there is only Thais currently). If this method is completed, characters will be able to return to the mountain and complete any unfinished quests or claim any rewards that you may find.

There will be quests and other areas besides this mountain and Thais, I am just more focused on getting this mountain finished and adding quests and some story lines to make things interesting for when the server is ready for an "official" launch.

So anyway this is just a brief overview on the current status of the server. I would be very happy if you would take a little time to try some things out and leave some feedback. I would love to know how you feel about the direction the server is headed, some of your likes/dislikes, things you feel should be taken out, added, or changed. Everyone's opinions and ideas are welcome as I want this to be a fun and unique server with a great community that everyone can feel a part of.

Keep in mind that some spawns may be heavily packed, and some may be completely empty, as some areas are still being worked on. If you feel that an area is too easy or difficult please leave your input!

I saw you logged on earlier. I was downloading stuff that's why it was lagging. The server will be on sporadically as I am still working on it and am just trying to get a community together to help me with feedback so I can make sure everything is headed in the right direction.

Anyway, give it a shot another time if you want or just check back here or on the website for status updates.
