The latest will obviously use TFS 1.0 or 1.1. I won't waste time and money updating 0.3 to 10.7.

The "idea" is similar to what you did already, but taking things much further. My plans are very extensive.

I'm not using 0.3 for anything except the 8.6 servers. The latest client will use TFS 1.0+.

A very broad description of my plans are to start at 8.6 with a perfect version of Tibia, and update it from there, tossing out the bad and keeping the good. This project is going to be throughout multiple client versions, and each will have multiple gameworlds.

It will have a custom touch after all of the content is finished. I won't start custom because people do not like downloading custom clients from new servers. I need a player base to begin with, and then I will add custom stuff later. My ideas and plans branch off of the foundation of a real map server, like building a house on a newly laid foundation. ;)

First goal: Get it off the ground.

He seems like a good guy and I've spoken to some other people saying he seems trustworthy. Just my 2 cents for now.

I can assure you, I more than "seem trustworthy." I have worked with dozens of people among these forums, and have conducted trades with countless others elsewhere. ;) You have nothing to worry about. As long as the work is completed as I have requested, there will be no issue.

I appreciate all of the support. :cool: This project means a lot to me. If I am not successful, so be it. I can at least say that I tried. ;)

My first goal is to get the 8.6 server online. I am far from finishing 10.71, as the new content is difficult to ascertain. But I can assure you it will be unlike any other.

My name is Nathan, I am 20 years old. I have a job that keeps me occupied however, I am able to spend at-least 6-8 hours a day on this project. I spend my free-time developing script systems, ect. I have my own home which I pay for the internet so there are no problems when it comes to whether I can be online or not.

I have a Skype account that we could use to communicate and as the developing continues I would be willing to give you my personal number so I can be reached at all times. I would rate my skill as 8/10. I look forward to helping with your project and don't expect a heavy compensation as I like working on my LUA abilities.

Updates on current events:
  1. The project's web developer has begun working on the website.
  2. URL's have been purchased in anticipation of completion of website.
  3. All positions have been updated. All private messages have been responded to.
  4. The TFS multi-world system has been thoroughly tested and is verified working.
Steady progress is being made, but there is still a lot of work to do. Please feel free to apply for a position or post here in display of interest or support. I will answer PM's regarding the project of any questions or concerns you may have. Do not hesitate to contact me!
