Lacking of details, like grass tufts and small stones on the mountain. And it's a bit squary.

This Village is for my RPG project!

There will come more soon! And I will create a thread for my mapping soon :D

PLEASE TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK!

Pretty random ^^ But still, I like it :D. Everything except the second pillar to the S-W. Looks like a good place to have a acc maker or something :D

Not bad.. the doors there in the mountain are they a house?.. if so widen the path to em a little.. i looks odd...
Maybe make the dirt mountain a little taller in places.. if it's not out side of the ss..

and mabye a little more nature behind the shop V< that area... other then that looks good to me

Use the grass tufts brush (doodads->nature) and these 2 brushes (http://otland.net/229104-post7.html) to easily add some detail.
Also you should place some flowers and other plants.

Using several different floor brushes is a good method to bring change to a plain field, too. For example on bigger grass fields, create some dirt or dried grass spots. Not too big, just to bring a little optical change. It makes the whole thing look more alive.

THanks alot Poof -.- THere are NO grass tufts or small stones what so ever on that mountain. and you say it's goodlooking... Might wanna rethink that scrubnub thingy....

seems like grass is growing out of everywhere for you, huh?
hopefully not out of your head.....

and you better take a look at your own Mountains, when it comes up to "square".

It's useless to argue over mapping styles since you can only judge from a subjective view, hehe.

Well, I aint arguing. I just dislike people who think they know everything better but in the end they don't have any clue at all...

That's why its always good to use the magic phrase "in my opinion" (imo), or phrases like that when it comes to a topic that's not exactly black and white... such as mapping. Nothing is really "right" or "wrong", its all peoples opinions. What makes a person a good mapper is only because of the fact that more people find that mappers work more appealing to them, that's all. So rockydog, why don't you stop being Mr. Know-it-all and take it easy.

@ tachi yer they are house but if u mean house as in for players to have im not completely sure but yer they are houses for hobbits they called hobbit holes. i wonder if u've seen the lord of the rings trilogy

Yeah the houses will be buyable :)
And I'll fix the nature behind and around it later on, just making the structure now so I got everything done :p
