Nothing is speaking against that. I am personally a big fan of these kind of funservers.
My map is probably going to alpha by Q2 next year. For an alpha there will be a TP room anyways.
More information will follow by next year.

Oh yes! I was thinking on working on a tp server that would be based on OLD forgottenl server (ip back then was forgottenl.hopto.org if i remember correctly). Also note that this server is different than forgottenl.se

You can find the original 8.54 Armonia map here. I remember Armonia fast-attack servers, they were a lot of fun. Had my own as well.
