Project Fibula Banned for going to mainland!

Hi, I’d heard stories that Project Fibula GMS bans people for no reason, but I thought maybe people were exaggerating or just lying… until today.


I spent around 6 hours on Rookgaard to reach level 8. Then I created a ticket on Discord because apparently there’s this weird procedure you have to go through to be allowed to go to the mainland. Fine, whatever — I made the ticket. They asked me how I heard about Project Fibula. I said probably from Facebook. Then they asked which group. I replied, “What does that matter? I don’t remember, it was about two months ago.”


After that, they asked which vocation I wanted. I said Druid. And that was basically the end of the conversation. I thought they would ask me which city I wanted to go to or something, but I had to deal with something in real life, so I was gone for about an hour.


When I came back, I tried to log into the game — banned. I tried to access the Discord — also banned.


Like… what is going on? I got banned just for wanting to go to the mainland. Do you understand that? Have you ever heard a story like this?


Then I went on the Project Fibula Facebook group and saw that someone else had just posted that they also got banned for trying to go to the mainland.


So I’m warning you about this insane server. It’s a shame because the game itself was really enjoyable, but something like this is honestly crazy and I just can’t wrap my head around it.

honestly it was best server i ever played but turns out administration is one of the worst i have met

they favourize befriended players, some people get banned for certain offences and others don't, honestly I still play there but i have no hope anymore that it will be a very long project

The server management should focus on fixing the game's bugs instead of constantly harassing players.

At any moment, they'll be asking level 100 players where they got the crystal coins to reach level 101.

But it has the worst management in the world.

This is the first time I hear of any game/server (not including alphas/betas), having you ask additional permission to join the majority of the gameworld. Gatekeeping your players is one of the worst things you can do.

They must think it's for security purposes so they can control exposure and/or cheaters, but it's a weird, almost an abstract idea that makes you think twice of the true intentions of a server.

If you need to protect a server against malicious players, it should happen behind-the-curtains not letting the player hop over additional, non-automated walls just to play a game.

I just read a screen of some Guildhouse being passed over becuase of housing shortage
It's like GM's are playing the Sims or Rimworld with the players

Yo i had a ticket for mainland and was waitin but passed out, went to log in the next day and was account banned from server and discord.
i made a new discord account to ask why in support with a ticket. I explained and was asked my char name, i told him "Pirate" which it was. and they replied, "that checks out" and i was booted and banned from discord on the new account.... no explanation

How do you think a server can survive with these guidelines that prohibit new players from joining?

Let me tell you, they failed in their vision, because even the original Tibia didn't dare to go as far as their administration is.

Is such a beautiful server in the hands of people incapable of thinking of better strategies than mass-banning players with cheating tags or rejecting new player applications to the main island and getting banned themselves—is that normal behavior for an administration?

maybe you need to re-read. he had no trouble finding this forgotten facebook page when he wanted to go complain. perhaps he should have put forth that effort before hand and honestly answered the simple question and avoided the problem altogether. I think it's rather likely the page is a hub for RMT and that's the reason he "couldn't remember"

and if you do not understand gif/picture that i posted then i recommend watching mechanical orange and this scene which sums up the owner idea of creating perfect server without people trying to think about "bad behaviour" and the "judging people mentality towards those bad behaviour players"

It's a beautiful server with poor management, and we already experienced this behavior a few years ago with the DURA-ONLINE server, and years later I think it will unfortunately have the same end.

I would like to know what is beautiful there, locking account creating for new players/botting problems/gm banning people because he thinks player pushed items too fast (unbanned only because he was streaming) / lot of crashes before / gm taking back guild house from player who made bedmakers / discord verification to play / few reasons but propably forgot due to not playing there

So only thing i can come up with is no toxic community where players mostly do not make anothers rage quit so they are guaranteed the stability to play longer

This server is really outclased by few projects that are up longer
Somehow i enjoyed playing tibiara more comparing to this which is same engine but 7.4

poor management

he's managing it decent to be honest towards people who never want to face better player / toxicity
literal snowflake community that do not understand problems that server will face (is facing right now with content for example and that's only one of problems of snowflake community)

Regardless of all the abuses the administration is committing by harassing the players,

that doesn't take away from how beautiful the server is.

As I said before, it's a beautiful server, but poor management is ruining it.

never got a chance to even tell GM Luna that I had a sponser and was gonna be a UH slave for Dominodas or any other plans... just fulll booot

My friend on "**bula" been BANNED cuz of he was pushing furniture too fast hahah. He has been unbanned in next minutes but he left server anyway. How stupid someone should be to "ban for fast hand cuz I thought it is bot" XD.
Like someone said here, this server is for gm and his friends only, if you disturb them, you getting banned, if they disturb you and you react, you also get banned.
Actually I can not get why anyone keep playing there after "GM" been destroying wall by "/r" 3 days in row to let some streamer(30 mage?) hunt demons (demons that don't deal damage hyhyhyhyh).
Also there was fun situation when some 10/12 knight was "blocking" path with parcel, we attacked him and from deep red hp, his hp refilled to full, then instantly GM arrived and asked "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"(asked us XD). Like I feel it is strange that 10 knight can fill his hit points to full. I do not suggest anything but gm was very mad, that we want to clear way by killing this 10 knight and he do not let to do it XD.
Cheers for everyone who is wasted at least minute there. Sad.

This house rental system really intrigues me... it’s not difficult at all, and since it’s a TVP base, it already comes built-in with the source and also through the website... something tells me that the houses choose their owners, not the other way around...

Played it, let me just say it plain, its serer for friends, not for players, Favourization is so huge, but guys its private server just leave like i did and play something else. Serer is nice but the admins abuse players like i never seen before. Literally unplayable, and oh god, if you accidentally disturb Gm friends "although i bielieve its gms playing on chars" and when disturb they teleport and punish players. EVEN THOUGH IM SO CLSOE TO BE DELETED FROM THIS FORUM I SAY OPENLY TRASH ADMINS!

Its like some bullied kid has ptsd from childhood, and takes it out on players, you have to make ticket to join mainla,d if you dont asslick you are banned, baa , try to be f2p players, oh god, Banned. Try to be druid, Banned, Try to disagree with someoen Banned. THIS IS BIGGEST JOKE NOT A SERVER, SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM OTLAND ASAP!
