This is my first design I ever made, please comment and tell me what to improve.

It's nice to be your first one but it wouldn't be hard for you to improve it I think.

Get some color into it, get a background etc..

To open up the .CSS and code the html + login / register / lost pw function and also the content / news function wich is PHP :)
 
Look pretty cool ;D The navigation links are too small you should make them bigger and maybe add a rollover to the nav links..

ModernAAC is only availabe for donors right?, correct me if I'm wrong.
And, well I could try to make a design for ModernAAC but then I need the whole AAC so I can implent it and such stuff. :)
