i voted that they can have characters, provided, they know the difference between their gm and character. Such as not to let the emotion of losing a war/battle cause them to use their gm powers on their enemies.
 
I even told Red a week before the reset, not to give me a GM if I started playing. and I didn't, incase there was abuse temptation. i think same should be done for other staff involved in war.
 
I made sure I wasn't given a GM.

Last thing I need is all you babies falsly accusing me abusing my GM powers.

remember when you were fighting the br's at nightmares, our team came from behind and killed you and sanctus the savior? you got so mad and logged on Red and banned us all and said we "combo botted". then u unbanned us when the war was over. (because you didnt want us to interfere)

While there wasn't 'abuse' from the GMs on the server that GMs didnt have chars (I'll go ahead and say it, Zantera).. there was another issue. The GMs didn't care about the server, at all. Why? They had no incentive to. They didn't have to deal with the 15 botters in every spawn or the fact that teams like Blackout were always combo botting. Because of this, they rarely did anything about it.

Then we need to have the current staff, if we want ones that care, to stop fuckin up and make sure the bans are legit when they do it, or to clerify with Red if the ban is good to go, and then be on with business. If Red says the ban is fair, then i think there should be no complaining considering its his server, not tryin to suck dick but ive had my share of arguments with Red and guess what, he can ban you whenever he wants and unban you IF he feels the need.

I can manage to keep the war separate. Honestly, siding with the Bruhs was for the best, I can't have any sympathy for them even if I tried.
 
I have a char named Golem. I have been a GM for a long time and i have never abused anyone. I have been accused many times; usually the accusations are regarding powers in game that my GM doesn't even have access to. My character is in no guilds. I believe that GMs should be able to have characters, but should be pvp-disabled. That is a good enough compromise. How do you guys feel about this deal?

I'm fine with it but I don't prefer it over the current situation quite honestly. The only GMs who honestly had anger issues that interfered with being a decent GM in my book were Exarion and Phardy. Sure, Raging might be a bit biased, but he IS actually looking for rule violations.
