So my other account, of which I just bought a donator subscription to (samff) was hacked today.

The e-mail seems to have been changed ... either that, or I can't remember what I signed up with.

Anything I can do?

How would you have bought donor subscription to an account you can't log into or use if it was hacked o.O?

Especially why if you don't remember the email your signed it with...

Your OtLand registration e-mail doesn't need to be the same as your PayPal e-mail. (that makes it possible)

He didn't just buy it today, he bought it like a couple of days ago...
 
Yeah, as Collz said - I bought it a couple days ago.

I think the potential 'hacker' changed the e-mail address as well, since none of my addresses work.
 
Well, the admins can check to see what was the last ip signed onto the account and link it up to someone here.

People r nubs to use same passwords ;) iv seen a lv 240 rp get hackd cuz he used same name on ots, just spelt backwards and same acc name/pass for ots and sold his ot chars a lot XD

I need my account back, I donated for fucks sake. If I don't get it back I won't be happy, considering I'm a PAYING member. It's called "premium" now, so it's not a donation - it's a service.

Alright.

I need solid proof if I am allowed to change your email, so you can recover your lost account using the lost account interface.

When you registered your username samff, you got a 2 mails in your inbox.

These two messages are titled:
1: Welcome to OtLand!
2: Your login details for OtLand

Fetch these messages, and forward them to either [email protected] or [email protected]
/sending to me tends to go faster than sending directly to the admin.

None of these mails contains your password, so even if I read it, I won't get any sensitive data. Only a verification link and a welcome message.

And the exact date +/- 5 seconds of when you created the account. Thats what I would call solid proof.

Wrong. It's not a service. It's still a donation. Did you read Talaturen's update thread?

The forum structure has been revised. All the OpenTibia related stuff can be found below the OpenTibia category, such as resources and tutorials. A miscellaneous section has been added for support, and tutorials which aren't related to OpenTibia... and some other changes have been made.

The donators usergroup has been renamed to OtLand Premium which is a more suitable when we are providing benefits that most people who donate expect. This doesn't mean that OtLand becomes more commercial, the money received from premium subscriptions will still be seen as donations!

Everyones reputation points has been reset as we change the factors for reputation points with this update, we hope this doesn't bother you too much.

They dont need to do anything, premium or not. Its your own fault you got hacked and I think you should be happy you get so much help, considering its your own fault you got hacked in the first place.

That's weird because it appears like the email has not been changed since registration, if it really is your account you shouldn't have registered with an invalid e-mail. What you can do if it really is you, is to send me the transaction id of the donation.
