Suggestion Automatically merge posts

It was not the exactly same and not in same section. I'm sorry for the trouble, perhaps the problem I brought is too big, people cant help and I have no patience. Sorry again.

there are lots of users that does it, I've reported like 5 different users in the last 15 minutes lol

I don't keep track of who I report, you would have to ask the mod who merged / deleted the posts.

This isn't rly a big problem.
Because Double Post does serve a purpose sometimes.
Maybe a popUp window when doubleposting [You sure you want Double post or Maybe EDIT previous post? (by clicked EDIT: automatically edits your first post]

There is really no reason except for bumping the thread.

Discussion thread.
When you let say making flash client.
You post: i tried "this" no progress.
10 mins later: i tried "this" Major progress.

Double post would get attention back from players who already looked the post.
Editing would not and they might not notice a Major progress.

In those cases yes, I would not mind people bumping a thread(In my opinion).
But the problem is and will always be that people will bump a thread after 1h if they don't get any respons.
And that is the thing I wanna go after, because well.. I really hoped that I could see how many posts I have reported just during this week(maybe some mod could see that)
But there have been a few, anything from double posts to quadruple posts.

My guess is that the popup will be abused for those things, "Should I hit new post(maybe someone sees my thread and helps me out)" YES

If one person has got 2(or more) posts in a row posted within 24h they shuld merge.

Maybe make it so that, only premium users can double post.
Or player with 500 messages and 50 likes?

50 Would not be enough, maybe 200-300+ so they have actually gained reputation in the community.
But at the same time it should be the same for all, it has happend me aswell but unlike most others I report that post to get it merged.

Let's up it to 300-400 then
But in all seriousness this has to be fixed, even in places like distros posts should be merged, it's the only way to make it work if we don't want ppl editing links etc.
Atleast not if we don't wanna bother the mods with 30-40% of the posts..
