Hello OTland, been a while since I posted anything but let's get straight to the point :p

Basically, I'll be in Dallas, TX in like 1-2 months, and I've been saving up to buy a gaming PC, like basically a PC that can handle pretty much anything, so can our American users recommend me store(s)? :D

You're very much welcome to post like configurations or so even if you don't know shops... Also if you know shops in any other state, I'll gladly go xD

Thanks =)

You can always use a website such as cyberpower, ibuypower, bestbuy, ect... but I would highly recommend buying the stuff you want from say newegg (or anywhere you get it cheaper) and building it yourself. It will be much cheaper and while it may seem intimidating at first, I can promise you after watching a few quick youtube videos to learn the basics, putting a pc together is basically a high tech game of leggos. Also, building your pc is always really fun and exciting!

Edit:
I would also like to add that you can buy cyberpower pcs on bestbuys website, and if anything goes wrong you can take it into literally any bestbuy to get it replaced. So that may be another option.

I would highly recommend you wait until Black Friday (Nov 28) and or Cyber Monday (Nov 30) to buy your PC. These 2 days are amazing for buying computer parts or really anything else lol.
You can literately buy parts for $100 that originally costed $300 or even more depending on the deals. Also like Xagul said I would also recommend that you use websites aka buy the parts online. (newegg is a pretty good one)

Buying parts online is often cheaper, less of hassle and a more variety of choices. You'll also save a lot of money by not wasting gas/plane tickets to go visit actual stores.
With these 2 holiday events coming up, you should be able to get what you want for reasonable prices if not much lower than you expected. :)

He said he'll be in Texas in 1-2 months (December or January).

Come on, guys. Read the post. If he's already in Texas, he might as well get some parts to take back with him.

I highly doubt he's coming to Texas ONLY for a PC, lol.

Wish I could, I know I can like order & get it when I'm there but I just don't feel safe doing that, also I don't know how to "get a computer together" so I was just looking for brand names like Alien Ware or Razer... However I'm not sure if Razer develops desktops (as I already have a laptop, the reason I am buying a "gaming" PC is because I want to use my laptop for business only, and the gaming PC for pretty much everything else.)

later on when you need some more power you can add one more 8gb ram and second gtx 970 with this psu :)
That's like more expensive than what I found on bestbuy & Frys :O, and keep in mind, I didn't look at computer parts there (as I don't know that much about computer parts ;C ) so desktops there are not that expensive, and with much more power like i7 6th gen, 16 GB ram. 1 TB & 128 SSD... So it's abit overpriced XD, thanks tho. I appreciate it =)

Still keeping my options open, if you have any other suggestions please don't hesitate :p

If you can find parts online cheap, you should mail them to the address you'll be staying at.

If you're staying in a hotel, be sure to call and ask if having a package delivered during your stay is okay with their policy. Otherwise, they may end up refusing delivery.

I love building PC's. Quite fun. Good luck. ;)

I would love building a PC, but I'm not experienced at all so I'm afraid I wouldn't know which cooler to get (I heard like liquid cooling or something) & which motherboard etc... So If you can recommend me some specs that would be awesome :D

I'd probably recommend something similar to this build, but upgrade the following:

GPU: Gigabyte G1 GTX 970 or AMD R9 390X
PSU: Corsair RM 650W
RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance
CPU Cooler: Corsair Hydro Series H80i GT

Might take a look at a different case, too. The NVIDIA GPU comes with better driver support. The AMD GPU should technically perform better, but may not without proper drivers.

I'm currently in Orlando, having some fun in uni studios with the family, however I will be in Dallas in a couple of days so if you folks know any good stores in orlando I'm interested to look at what they offer here :)

Don't buy a cyberpc with AMD graphics or cpu because I have one and I crash with only 3 otclients opened even tho its 3.9 ghz and it is good enough for gta 5 med settings..

Omg amd sucks as hell for a 3 reason why amd sucks!

1:Can't handle most of the game!
2:The cpu allways overheat!
3: Don't have a good performance most of windows task!

I suggest to buy a intel cpu with nvidia gpu card!

1. Your statements are bullshit.
2. You talk like a kid, which makes it hard to believe.
3. You are saying statements without a source.
