Do you guys know anything about any good 10.9+ OTS starting soon? I have a lot of free time now and nowhere to play at all.
 
I was thinking about starting the same thread :D idk maybe ascalon but that is in a few months I assume... I play Tibijka since it reminds me of my favorite tibia times :)
 
im not really into oldschool tibia, also tibijka is a copy of eloth, and its full of polish guys which seems to be very toxic towards not polish people. medivia is ten times better since it have english talking community. im the type of player from shadowcores lunarforce early hexera, lately i was playing on thronx but its dead for some time now. I heard rumors about retro shadowcores but i dont know if thats true or just plot.
 
maybe i go reset my server i have 0 donations and i can do it soon :D

I started Tibia around 7.92 when rune hotkeys were already implemented but I have also enjoyed oldschoolservers earlier-7.72. I dont mind playing without rune hotkeys but it is just "exhausting" after some time and I want a game to be a little bit more relaxed. For me 8.0 is the perfect version to go with. But I have to agree, it is sad that there are almost only polish players there (even though I am polish myself). Tibia should be multicultural.
 
same here, i started on 7.9 oh my god if i remember cipsoft added poi quest back then it was like 2006 i think. damn this quest was hard as fuck with old potions, personally i've never finished it before tibia 8.1. Ye, 8.1 was gamebreaking too, new potions changed this game it was such a massive update, then i remember that MDW hits 300 and soon after that i stopped playing for some time. But these times passes, now all im about is fighting, i forgot how to RPG, specially when 90% of players have bot, RPG element doesnt exist no more. I need some warmode

The 8.0 PVP System is nice you can still lure monsters and people cant walk through mwalls, run to pz or even walk through other players (WTF?)

Well, since Ox failed last year, I've been playing Medivia. But Im still waiting some 10.9+ serious ot server to come out.
Hexera has a great setup, but the server is crowded with 100% afk botters.
 
For me good server means no real map because a good server should be unique and not repetitive like a real map which everyone already knows. But that is just my opinion :D
 
it doesnt mean that, but whats the point of playing dead ots ? wasting time on server that will dissapear in week? what would i do there? tibia is MASSIVELY MULTIPLAYER so if you think about it playing on ot where is 4 people (1 is god) doesnt make sense at all, its like fucking single player tibia

For me an OT needs at least 40-50 players online at peak times if it is custom and the map is small to medium. If the map is a real map it needs at least 300 players online at peak times to be enjoyable imo. Mainly, I love tibia because as @The Avalanche said it is MASSIVE MULTIPLAYER. It is nice to meet new random people, have random pks, quests, traps, team hunts, trades, talks etc. :) Just quit making real map ots there are more than enough, good crowded real maps out there. Except if you have an individual attractive idea.

Just wait for Thanatos/Ascalon/World of Therran if you are into custom ots.

BTW: if anyone wants to join me on tibijka and PK some random polaks (im polish myself) then message me ;)

since paladin hits you for 150 with only enchanted spear PVP is fucking stupid there, also if i know you have to buy pacc. i dont know if you know but like month ago two friends of GM joined server, so... in 24h they was top 1 and top 2 in lvl's (120 level in less then 24h, server had like week already and highest level was some swish and he was 115 after playing everyday for 15h) and top 1/top 2 in distance/shielding. NICE OT. VERY NICE. as i can see, they are deleted now, what the fuck is wrong with this gm dude?
