New features that people want in a server!

Hello! I open this discussion thread. What are the new/existing features that people want to see in a server to play it?
Example: Revamp of vocations, more promotions, high or low experience and skills..
Let's talk about it! :p
 
pvp, new custom content, mid-high exp, balance of vocations, quests also if you want your ot to be alive more

Well this is like answering "EVERYTHING". I think OTs don't usually have everything.

IMO I agree that most people wants to PVP ( what is a really shame to me). I do prefer PVE, questing, exploring, facing bosses etc feeling my character more and more powerful while i advance ingame.

Usually people use tibia just to PK, because they maybe could not do that on Real Tibia.
 
atm as I can see BudexOT offers everything of wroten above.

We made PvP Items which are comfortable for everyone, PvP items can be bought for PvP Tokens, once you kill someone you will get 1 PvP Token.
As example PvP Mage Hat cost 35 PvP Tokens , so once you bring them you can buy items +1 Temple from NPC.

We dont have that much custom content but a lot is our hand edited.

Mid-high exp, I think we already have it :)

Balance of vocations - Last Season we didnt had good balance because something really messed up on our formulas, but this time we edited it as much as we can, I think its Perfect.

We have Normal Quests which are over 50, and daily quest which are over 5 , So every 24h you can do it.

With bosses we used to think a lot and we made good idea, We have Normal Team hunt bosses and Ultra team hunt bosses, Normal team hunt bosses drops anodus/exodus items and Boss Tokens, Anodus/Exodus item can be crafted in Donate items and tokens can be used for Ultra team hunt bosses.
Ultra team hunt bosses drops Best Items in-game , such as Budex EQ, that makes our server not pay2win for sure.

There's just a part of things that we offer :)

PvP after 7.7 its not pvp, but rest looks nice i gona try

100% custom quest mechanics (ie boomerang to hit a switch, use rocks to step on a switch tile)
100% custom monsters
100% custom food effects
100% custom gear +customizable
100% No Vocations (ie levelup points, etc..)
No botting

@Flatlander You're the only one who started it and hit most of these points. Still waiting for your Multiverse server. Camp-fire/random quest-event mechanic was nice to try, was so cool.

As nosferatu said, u need something that players like to play. You need to satisfy the most people u can and keep doing it, or it will be a dead server in not so long.
IMO mid-high exp is the more important thing to work. I'm kinda sure people don't like to play low-mid exp custom servers that they don't know if it'll have a future.
But please, don't make a server reset-based because ppl get high lvl 2 fast. Try to balance this.
 
New features here and new features there. For me it feels like the more features a server has, less players. If people dont recognize anything they feel like "cba".
 
Ye ;0 Bro Medivia was and it is full of custom stuff, classicus other big ots that i rmmber also had custom items and spawns, bro 7.4 real map is boring asfug.
 
When in party, targetting a party member won't attack him (red square) but instead it will target him (green square). This way casting some spells (mostly heals) will heal/target the party member.

Now make druids (or a new class) focused on heals.

Change it to "new class" focused on Buffs/debuffs and you'll have an actual fun character to play.

Healing by itself is incredibly boring.
 
Melee and distance weapons that work like runes (click to use with crosshairs) but lower damage and higher speed (fishing speed).
 
Make a vision system, something that prevents monsters from targeting you if they can't see you (Something like a conevision system used in stealth games) it would add a very cool stealth mecanic! :D

This is how my upcoming server works. I have Aggro and Threat.

Threat is how Threatening you are to all nearby creatures, and Aggro is how Aggravated a monster is at you personally.

A monster cannot even start becoming Aggravated at you, if he has not noticed you yet.
If you are behind him, or hiding behind a wall, you do not gain any Aggro.
