Hello everyone,

So I'm using OTX Server / The SoftCores Version: (1.0.X.S - 4)

I don't know why but people can't login and I get this message on the console:

[9/3/2018 9:35:47] [Warning - Protocol::RSA_decrypt] Not valid packet size (IP: 191.19.127.214)

Can anyone explain to me? it means that whoever tried to connect at least get to the character list but could not login in my server. WHY?

Ports are open.
Site is on redorder.servegame.com

Thanks for the explanation.

So, I'm sorry if I sound lazy but are somewhere in this forum some step by step guide to change rsa key in order to run in any client? Or a 7.4 client has one RSA KEY and client 7.72 has another?

Thank you!
Mostly if you dont go into custom things much, there are only two RSA keys. One is cipsoft RSA and the other one is ots RSA. If you download raw cipsoft client it will use cipsoft RSA, which is only compatible with real tibia servers and incompatible with tfs. In order to get it working with tfs it has to be changed in client (every working ip changer does that).

Custom Client [8.6 - 10.XX]
If you get this message

Then it's most likely server issue not client, your server cant decrypt the packet sent by client.

Hello Nekiro,

I don't know man.. its doesn't seem to be a server issue since the same guy can connect with a specific client.. and when he changes, he just can't.

IP: 1.2.3.4.5.6 for example, can connect with a specific client and play normally.
IP: 1..2.3.4.5.6 get this error: [9/3/2018 9:35:47] [Warning - Protocol::RSA_decrypt] Not valid packet size (IP: 1.2.3.4.5.6) when using a different client.

RSA_DECRYPT means that the RSA key for this server, is only able to descrypt that key for one specific client. Is there a way to get rid of this?

Yeah, server is decrypting only one RSA key (ots rsa if not changed), you cant connect with any other client that uses different rsa than the one you have in your server until you change it in client or in your server.
And you cant remove rsa key decryption in your server, because clients are using this encryption. If you remove client encryption then you can remove server decryption.
