You can easily go and buy an AOL to prevent your backpack from dropping. It literally takes anyone above level 80 5-10 minutes on frost dragons/warlocks to get this sort of money.
Secondly, i wasn't the one who abused the bug, i am a person that benefitted from it indirectly by getting money from "free items", where people dropped duplicated money in ankrahmun depot, people just dropped 1kk on the ground.
