Just got my optimized path finding algoryth working ! I'm so excited because that really gave me headache ! :D before I could only be chased by one creature, and once it got too far away from me, things started to get laggy, Now I just tested with 10 creaturre, and it works perfectly fine :)
There is still some works to do on the monster behavior because currently creatures can move over eachother, but those little errors are easy to fix compared to the A* pathfinding algorythme :p ! I'll post a new video once everything is done!
 
I think it looks beautiful and promising. Absolutely has potential! What I also really liked was the music added, even if it wasn´t from Ingame. But it would most likely fit as game-music aswell.
Keep working on this is my opinion!

Funny sidestory; At first I actually thought that the ingame character was named ¨Don the Knight¨, and I was like "Whaaat?! I love knight?!", but then realized his name was Dan. :D

You did great work ! but the messages bar looks ugly make it transparent it would be better + it looks like minecraft 99% try to improve the sprites to more graphical ones.
best wishes for your project and good luck keep know : working harder = more success thats why i tlod you improve the sprites
 
@Shadow_ I think you nerver worked on a project you did alone by yourself otherwise you would have known that art, and sprite are superficial, and you can't waste time on these until the game core is completly coded.
The objects in the scene I use are prototypes, and most of the time, simply added a single color as material. If you focus on deetails before anything, it will lead you nowhere. And you should stop talking about success if you are not even succesfull, That beeing said, I wish you luck in your next ot ( CarcooIzx.org ( Soon ) ) I hope that I will see how much effort you put on your sprites soon enough :)
 
Hahahahaha , who said i’am not successful you don’t know me to say and who said i will add sprites i told you to do because you need to do you are doung graphics i don’t need to add sprites since i have more than 5k sprites but its wasting of time if you are not working on ghraphics , don’t take my post personal i must tell you the truth about your work and i don’t know who are you it’s my opinion and i told you what i have from ideas , good luck in your minecraft server anyway, please keep knowing that everything is details. Note : carcooizx.org is a full working ot without bugs , full customized took me 2 years to finish it. If you don’t accept my opinion change the thread topic and don’t ask what do we think , goodluck anyway

There is exactly 4 sprites :) and for eq only anyway as wlways i wish for everybody good luck in what he is doing you did great

Having fun lately ! :D here is the latest thing i've tested out,
the navigation system:
the navigation system at a high level speed ! 360 tiles per minute,
 
Spent last two day to make the new menu system, planning to add a new panel on the left later. Player will be able to customize the menu's position as he wants! it is still not finished yet,
to do list :
- modify the height of the menu when dragging the bottom of the menu.
- optimize the height of a menu when opened.


 
Runescape is very similar to Tibia and 3D.
I'm gonna need more graphics to like it cause now it's a 3D game uglier than Tibia kkk
But I know it's very hard to do that and you deserve congratulations for that, nice job!

And I don't know if i like this perspective, it's like Google Maps, you see things around you always a little layed (bad bad english sorry kk), I prefer Tibia style that looses the visibility of some things south east from the character.
 
Thanks for the comment :p I worked mostly on the code for now, when I get into art more deeply, you'll probably enjoy it a little more maybe !

I really like the texture of the game, but the UI/UX grids are terrible for me.

Here is The Latest In-Game Video, showing the compass, and the grass randomization!
I Created 10 tiles of grass with 32x32 texture, and created a quick UI to replace the old grass by the new tiles!
Those are my first 32x32 texture. I know It needs a lot of improvement, but I think it is a nice thing to start with!
