Wow! That really looks awesome.
I'm wondering if you used a 3d program to make such an animation, or if you made it by pure pixel art.
There was this guy, I forgot his name, but the thing is that somehow he managed to model some 3d stuff and then simply turn them into 45º sprites. Results were just great.
Looking forward to see more of your works!
and yes. To help with fill in monsters and to keep up with requests for attack animations from my small community. I have a program that converts 3d models into 2d sprite sheets with custom shaders and lighting. Im still new at it but I have dreams of becoming as good as the well known artists on otland
Pm me for a link to my games discord. Project Immortal! We will start an advertisement thread soon
for me is notorious is a 3D, but i love it, i dont discredit it because not being pixelart, i love new ways of making graphics for these types of games! keep it up!
Is my discord link to my game im making. I use my custom unity plugin to make these. Its not fully finished yet but I plan to use it for now to create fillet monsters combined with advanced scripting to create some epic boss battles!
Please join my discord if youd like to discuss how I did this or of youd like to follow my project.
I prefer discord as its just easier to talk to people than forums.
Are these what the sprites would look like in game? If so that's so amazing. I don't really know much about spriting so I'm interested in how this works. You are using a 3D program to make the sprites and then using another program to convert it into 2D sprites? If that's the case I think this is a really cool way of doing it. Would love to fight these monsters in-game.
