Hi! I'm a new member of this forum, althought I decided to run a 4fun project - I'm still learning, never done this before so there are not many things I did completly on my own. I'd like to introduce you to The NewOldTibia, which is an oldschool looking tibia (keept around version 8.6 sprites on the map) combined with some custom mechanics, such as item sets, cursed chests and enchanting system (huge credits to @oen432, you're the man!). The core of the OTS is build on Togus distro so there are no vocations, at least the ones you already know. Skillpoints that you gain upon leveling are the tool to improve your character.​

The NewOldTibia is a low rate, open pvp world. It has custom map, about 21mb for now, which is Nefaria's unfinished project map, credits to @Ceasar. There are many missions to be taken from the npc, about 20 quests so far and tasks to earn some money. OTS has exp stages for leveling and the number of skillpoints given.​

The fact, that there is no training on the server has made a gameplay more dynamic, especially with a teleport system, that has its place on it. On The NewOldTibia you have a full acces to your character - you make your citizen a powerfull caster, warrior or whoever you want, simply by relocating skillpoints amoung certain skills. Grinding has its different meaning, too. The higher level you are, the strongest enemies you fight, the better are statystics of an item he drops. Monsters also drop an unidentified items, that if you're lucky enought, will become unique. 101.png

The NewOldTibia is being built all the time, so you can expect an update once or twice a week - I'm trying to eliminate a bugs on instant, however, sometimes my work doesn't allows me to do so. Content already existing is for at least 120lvl character and it's growing fast. There is a gropu of friends and other people playing now, It had its start on 04.07 so you will find a gentleman to share exp or do quests togather. I would love to see some feedback from you!​

PS. Yes, there is a shop with outfits and THREE items, just to get some money to develop the server. Now some more screens.

server seens to be really fun, but i believe if you increase a little bit the exp will be way better.
 
Can you teleport my char to Temple. I have been stuck for a few days but have not seem and Admin/GM online Character name Wicked
 
@Niloahs, thanks, I'll set the rates up for the first 30 levels in update that im currently working on - creating custom spells for every sub-professions (there will be 10 main streams to build your character), however, due to my irl work this might take some time.
@Everlast character already in temple, I'm usually online by the evening (20;00 CEST). There is also GM Bytake on the server, you can ask him for help aswell.
 
You should add detailed information about what all of the skill points do so we know how to invest points before we actually do. Intelligence, faith, magic, ect.
Also discord server invite is expired and we can not join it. Looks interesting going to try it out.

SKILLS AND THEIR MEANING
Every 1 skill to level up costs exactly 1 skillpoint, excluding magic level, which costs 2 points.
Magic level (per 1 level) - 15 mana, increases damage from spells used by mage
Vitality - 15 health
Strenght - 5 capacity, insreases damage from spells used by warriors and melee damage
Defence - decreases physical damage on player
Dexterity - increases attack speed 0.5%, walk speed 0.5 and damage dealt by distance weapons
Intelligence - 10 mana, inreases wand damage by 1%
Faith - 10 mana, increases rod damage by 2%
Endurance - 15 capacity and 5 health

Most of the skills will get some new scalling meaning in the next update (planed for 24.06) - it's connected with changing existing already spells and replacing them with all custom abilities only. There also will be created 10 sub-classes with a tutorial on the site. Please join our Discord to be up to changes.
