Enigmas Dogma



I was diagnosed with brain tumors 3 years ago and before they told me wat it was they said my headaches came from using my computer. Had to put my coding dreams on hold lol. I finally found out i am tumor free after 6 brain surgeries lmao i cant feel my hands or legs but i know i can code again so im back.....

Okay, so This is Enigmas Dogma.
When you begin you will find yourself in the temple. once you walk to the building just south you will stumble upon the 5 npc's in a building each yelling come pick an element.

Each element comes with starter spells that will help you reach level 8 once you do, welcome to choosing your class. speak with your teacher at your base.
(Darkness, Light, Magma, Lightning and Jungle) these are the 5 choices you can pick from once you choose they will provide u with equipment and 3 different weapons for you to find out what fighting style you like and you will gain your class through training your skill. Example (Darkness: Shadow, Ghoul and Apprentice.. Apprentice (Sword & Distance Skills) so gaining skill in both swording or distance at level 20 skill you will be promoted from a Darkness Clan Member to an Apprentice of the Darkness Clan.

From here you want to hunt and do quest to work towards you Path. Example (Path: Apprentice =Soldier or Clipper) The object of a path is to basically choose a skill to invest in. (Soldier promotes to a Samurai) but on the road to a samurai you will be able to dual wield two hand swords (Clipper promotes to a Ninja) on the road to ninja you will be able to dual wield Throwing weapons

Once you choose a path your promotions will give you bouses based on your Classes gene.
Gene: are tiny boost or gains only certain classes have. Such as Dual wielding or shield using. this will boost your skill gains

Final Promotion Will Be Beast Mode This transforms you to your classes Beast form and give you either (Crit bonus, life drain or mana drain.)

I have tunred pets into Body Guard type Functions, you can let you partner travel and level with you rather than evolving they will gain spells addons and mounts.
I made the game PVE so that element clans can war and due to the bases being properly placed in spawns your bound to run into someone.

Im in the process of:
-putting it on phpmyadmin (Kinda finished this lol)
-Fixing and uploading my website (the guy i paid to do kinda left me in the dark on installing it lmao)
-Aquiring a Shell (i got the money for it just not 100% how to go through the process)

I don't have interest in this particular server and I don't know you, but I've had family and friends fight cancer. I'm glad you beat it dude/dudette!

All I can do is suggesting you to take a look at Jobs and I am sure you'll find someone who'll take your job.
I recommend you asking/checking this as first 2.

Hello. I'm glad you're open to criticism, so here's what I think would help your server. The first thing I want to tell you is something about one of the parts which makes one game be a good game. And this thing is synergy between its elements, and to which archetype from inside our minds they belong to. A good story must make sense to the mind/subconscious of the person its being told to, or they will understand it as an incoherent babble, and its the same logic with games. So, please let me try to help you with the RPG element of your server, and then try to help you by presenting some mechanics I think should be applied upon some of the mechanics you presented, which would, in my opnion, make sense to add to your server and would make it more fun to play. So, moving on. You wrote an original concept, but you didn’t say anything about its ingame story, so I’ll assume you have nothing, so I’ll give you the idea I thought would fit your server. The name of your game is Enigmas Dogma. So, assuming you know what a Dogma is, consider making this the genesis of your server: 5 primordial gods, each representing 1 of the elements your players would choose, are, for some kind of unknown reason (hence the Enigma, of the Dogma), waging an eternal war against one another. And then they decided to wage the war through their mutual creation, the world of men, by influencing the apex of their creation, man itself. So, after some time after the creation of mankind, they reached to its most prominent leader, a barbarian warlord, and proposed a deal: If he built a great city to host specific temples to each of the primordial gods, they would reward him. So, the barbarian warlord used his resources to build the first and greatest city of the world, thus advancing mankind from the stone age to the age of masonry and metals. After witnessing the tremendous success of their plan, the gods rewarded the now civilized barbarian warlord, but the reward was beyond his wildest dreams: The humans were gifted with eternal life, meaning that, if they died, they would be reborn… inside the temple of the god the human in question choose to follow. And the players would first be born inside the throne room of the now Emperor/Former barbarian warlord, and, after picking his element, they would respawn inside the respective temple. Anyway, I know this was a long story to read, and I gave you no names for the gods because I think you should PM me if you want to accept this idea, PMs are the way in which I should provide further help without the risk of someone stealing the idea I’m writing especifically for your server. Now, let me give you my opnion about the elements you presented. In the name of synergy, and to use good archetypes, I think you should change the elements to: Shadow, Fire, Divine, Arcane, and Nature. These would give you way more room to work with when making your vocations, and people would prefer them because they are things basically anyone can wrap their minds around. Compare Fire to Magma, or Nature to Jungle. Very few people have magma or jungle as elements of their routine, but fire and nature we use and see almost daily. Also, there is the part where I can’t really help myself to come up with the name and a story for a magma god, or a jungle god. Anyway, I repeat: If you want to accept my sugestions, and want me to further help you, just PM me and we will talk. Moving on, again: Again, let me know through PM if you want me to help you decide the names and mechanics of the vocations, but let me tell you right now: I really think you should drop the examples you gave: Shadow, Ghoul and Apprentice have basically nothing to do with one another, except Shadow and Ghoul, but let me assure you: I can help you come up with some things which would make the players feel good about playing with, and would, well, actually make sense. I don’t want to offend you, but writing is my job, and I guess yours is coding, and mankind only goes forward when people with different skillsets help each other. Next thing is what you called Paths. Good idea, but I don’t know if you meant the Paths to be skilltrees, or quests. In the case of being quests, this makes a good map an essential thing, and in this case, I recommend you to not go with teleporters. Personally, I hate them, and the only people to like them are the PVP people that couldn’t care less about the map, since they just want to fight, and Tibia, for them, it’s just the means to an end. Again, I can help you with the map, but I’m afraid I can only provide you an outline of the map, but I would at least write you the RPG elements to be applied to the map, quests included, given enough time. Ok, now talking about Genes. What I think would be a good idea, would be one of two things, or both: You could apply a simple alchemy system, or, more easily done, code an alchemist NPC in order to provide the players with potions of different colors, and each potion would apply a “DNA change” to the player character, and it could be stackable. You would need to just pay attention, of course, to the balance of the system: The first dose could apply a 5% bonus, the second, a 4% bonus, and so on, but this was just an example. There is also the economic side, but that is almost entirely up to you to decide. Now, your idea of Beast forms. Again, you should apply synergy to your concepts, and use archetypes, and in this case, allow me to just give you literal examples right now: Shadow: Vampire. Fire: Demon. Divine: Angel. Arcane: Energy Elemental. Nature: Ent. These are simple, they make sense, and they would be fun to play. One last thing, about balance: I suggest you should make one element weak and strong against one another: Divine > Shadow > Arcane > Fire > Nature > Divine. I have nothing to say about your pet system and no opnions to give about it, just that maybe you should make specific pets to each clan. Maybe. Almost anything could work really, but as I said: In almost any case, Sense = Fun and Attachment.

Final considerations: I wrote this text just to help you, and only to help you. Feel free to use all of it, or change it, and to apply it yourself, or to PM me and ask for more help. I can help you with anything but coding and the map itself, since I don’t even have a mapping program. I just hope you don’t give up on your dreams, because I sure as hell wont give up on mine. The world needs more dreamers working to build their beloved projects. And if your first dream doesn’t come up as good as you wished, you can always dream of something else, or maybe even reshape your dream and try again. Good luck, my friend.
 
So i been trying to see if its possible to add the dual wield feature and attack speed becoming a skill like distance fighting. i have tfs 0.3
