Hey guys!

Assets Editor is an open-source editor for client 12+.

Requirements:
  • Net Core 3.1
Features:
  • Modifying objects.
  • Copy flags between objects.
  • Create new objects.
  • Creating new sprites sheet, merging sprites, exporting and saving as lzma.

Currently this editor doesn't check for common sense things, like if you didn't save the object and moved to new one it won't warn you about saving, or creating new object with wrong patterns.

I think some are having problems with the program's screen size. For example I have a 15 'monitor and the add, save and other buttons below the sprites are not visible to me. I know from someone else who had the same problem. There is no point in reducing the size of the screen, since the scroll bar or changing the location of the start bar as it does not appear on the entire program screen.

Also, as already mentioned, it would be good if you had the option to extract Sprites or we will have to use Object Builder at least for this function. If I had how to extract the sprite already animated it would be even better but I'm exaggerating too. Anyway, this is a phenomenal job and a great advance for the community.

I will certainly make a statue on my maps dedicated to @SpiderOT for its incredible creation that will revolutionize Tibia 12 with new Sprites. As soon as I have time I will do the appropriate tests to put my ideas into practice. Excellent job!

I did some more tests and got positive and negative results. I used the method of replacing Sprite with another one to maintain the same initial attributes. In the first one I changed the Sprite of an Armor and the other a Sprite of Wood Floor. For some reason the first one did quite well while the second generated debugging.

Another factor I don't know if it happened to others was when it came to attaching Sprites to Assetts' Spr. He created 63k of empty Sloots on the first attempt and less than 150 on the second. And it was one of the Sprites from the first attempt that gave an error that closes the Client while the second one was normally. I am working on tests but in general the result was very positive.

I have a problem just at the start of the session. When selecting "Assets folder" (I chosen the 12.51 client folder where Tibia.spr and Tibia.dat exists) I received a message telling me that I have selected a Wrong assets path.

So, Is it any kind of limitation with 12.51 client? What kind of assets SHOULD it read if aren't Tibia.spr and Tibia.dat?

Tibia 12.51 client doesn't have Tibia.spr and Tibia.dat, only 10.99 and bellow use them (I suppose), as for the error, make sure to add a "\" at the end of the assets folder path

WOW... It has to be... \assets\.... okay... I did it... sorry... my bad.
and just in case you didn't noticed... I really have both SPR and DAT... just a modified 10.98-99 with stuff from Client 12.51

sadly, I didn't knew why those couldn't be read with the Assets editor.

@SpiderOT

incredible, I was waiting for a tool like this.

I tried to edit the flag for some items, but the modification did not take effect.
When I try to add a new item, the program closes.

Has anyone managed to create or replace any Outfit / Mount Sprites or Items with animation frames? Another issue when I create the first "spr" palette is that it creates hundreds of blank Sprites that cannot be erased. But I was already quite satisfied with the Sprite's change, so I can take something that is already set to Set, change Sprite and the attributes and make it a totally new item.
