Not sure what you mean by all this. Raised more questions actually. Explain further more? What server versions are you comparing to, and I have never heard of the term xml-servers before? My question remains the same

XML based servers were... xml based. Now it's all Lua (XML still used but not the same way).

What server or client -version were you referring to when comparing to the latest? 7.6?

@revvedsince2010 was asking about the old mods folder that contained a single XML file with a definition and some Lua embedded in the middle.
@oen432 Thinks you were talking about the previous generation of otservers which were largely XML based as opposed to SQL based.

Open Tibia has a lot of quality in develop now. It's amazing how it has evolved. However, the quality of the Tibia player is really disappointing, average servers are copy paste from the global map or 8.6 bot worlds. It's like the develop efforts mean nothing because average player eats trash. I've seen really custom and cool servers die because they are trying to bring back what we loved when we were young. I guess Open Tibia will change as we know it when this generation grow up and get jobs just like us, so a new generation can take the wheel in gaming.
