You could make a faster roogkard at least on the first day at the start of the server like x20.

Just knowing that people will be use cave boting on a roogkard when you go to sleep and someone has to go through it manually causes brain storms.

This is the most boring part of the gameplay , you could spare us this, even for the first hour or two.

Rook won't be boosted on start. It's not going to be a war server, it will be flat. Sorry.

We currently have 4 additional GMs and myself, all on alternate time zones. The client has also has some measures to prevent botting, although I know blocking and preventing them all 100% isn't possible, we will reply on the community to report such activity, knowing a large portion of the people interested in playing are will not be willing to tolerate such behaviour.

But in my opinion, this is the worst type of server with a paid premium, you simply cannot do a worse option when it comes to p2win, because pacc prices are always much higher than the prices of items that can be added to the sms store, and moreover, pacc is easier to exchange for runes or cash than an item that would not be of great value.

Pacc is the same as you would add 10 cc or more to the store, because such sums will be easily reached after some time.

Man imagine Tampik spent all this time on creating the server he dreams of, instead of wasting it all on posting cryposts on EVERY 7.4 server that has either launched or is about to launch. The advertisement board would be a much chiller place without all these crybaby posts, nothing is good enough for the almighty GOD Tampon.

GL with the server Panther, seems like a very nice project.

Yeah, I won't be putting pay to win items in shop.

That being said, there are still costs for advertising, hosting etc, so I will be putting some utility type items and cosmetics in the shop, but nothing like weapons, armor, regen items or exp boosts, etc.

Some items I will likely add to shop are things like Secret Agent Tools (That works like rope/shovel/pick/macheette), gold converter (since right clicking coins won't be auto change gold on live server), gold pouch (gold only container). That's about the extent of it for exclusive use items. Other things will be outfits (some already added), house deco items like in from real tibia, floor tiles, etc.

Pacc is only about 5 bucks a month. It's quite cheap compared to others. Furthermore, some premium features are altered, and some new, so that even facc players are able to play just as much.

I would never spend my time acquiring the IT knowledge that is needed to make my own server.

Therefore, it is impossible to imagine that I would create such a server, because it is impossible.

I can only play the finished product, which is usually of poor quality.

Unfortunately, I am not satisfied with just anything, so something that is bad cannot satisfy me.

I prefer to play a different game or do a few push-ups and write a forum post for 5 seconds.

Pacc is only about 5 bucks a month. It's quite cheap compared to others. Furthermore, some premium features are altered, and some new, so that even facc players are able to play just as much.

The rpg aspect does not give any entertainment, but only annoys me, and pvp on a server where you can make 20 frags a month is just a comedy, still unbalanced gameplay, because the guy will buy some premium and can have 500 cc cash on the server with a 1x loot rate.

There is simply nothing worse that can be done.

Any server orshabal with subsidies soft boots in the sms store is better than something like this.

Someone should just hire @Tampik and make a server with him, just let him choose stats , balance everything.

I actually work in IT and have done for 14 odd years. I don't mean to come off as having a big head, I just mean I know what I'm doing. Unfortunately it's impossible to provide the best option for everyone. I dream of the days Australia has sub 100 latency to the US/EU though

And that's fine too. We all have our own opinions. I do development for fun and host these servers out of my own love of old tibia. I also want to build a community of friends, just like back in the day, and that's what this is about.

I'm afraid I just have a different, and firm, opinion when it comes to putting end game items directly in the shop. In regards to pacc being the way it is, this also serves to inhibit people who only want to log in and mass pk. Having some of those pacc features means the people playing and paying for it are commited to more than just getting banned as quickly as they can from unjustified kills.

On this point, there isn't going to be players with 500cc because no one will have that much money. No matter what items get put in the shop, if they're tradable they will have an in game value. The value will start low and maybe move to a more static price as time goes on. But putting end game items in the shop just takes the fun out of it. Just like if you had a GM char and spawn your own items, it gets boring quickly, which is why I don't even do this for my own chars. Id rather have quests/mysteries to achive great items. That makes it feel all the more rewarding when they're finally achived.

Here we have a completely different opinion, because I have been playing this game for a very long time and any items do not make any impression on me.

It is known that they will not have 500 cc immediately, but over time, for the price of a few premium accounts, they will be able to buy much more than they could do with items whose market value would drop over time to the jins npc price level.

It makes no difference if, after a few day some pairs of boots of haste, someone will buy a premium one and have them, it is the same as you could add such an item to the store.

Paid pacc will not hold back people who want to pk on the server, on the contrary, it will encourage them to kill everyone and abandon it.

Well, it's your server and your decisions.

Suggestion: Don't add a gold converter item. Its very unbalanced in a 1x server. Knights lost their cap advantage in long hunts. You can add a HUGE backpack with 30, 40, 100 slots, but gold converter is very unbalanced and make bots even more good to profit on low level knights too.

The true is: 7.x is not sustainable for a very long term. This is why Tibiantis is the only real 7.4 long-term server. They have removed djinns because they know its a problem to the economy of a tibia-based RPG. In my humble opinion, the perfect server for nostalgic players will never exists, because we are looking for a paradox: the magic of nostalgia with elements that we already know and we are already totally bored of.

No you don't. Some of the Premium features are altered to make more of the game playable to facc. You'll need pacc to UE though I didn't think it was good to have the basic attack spells pacc only for a 7.4 with no wands.

Well botting accounts will be banned and the item would be from the web shop only. I don't think the kind of people who bot gold are going to be investing money into an item like this. It also requies you to click it, not the magic gold converter that auto changes and auto loots gold, you still need to target the item onto stacks of money. It'd be a better item for lower level mages tbh.

I've also added the gold pouch, but as 100 slots for gold/platinum/crystal coins only.

To elaborate on the concept of the gold pouch though, here it would be different from real tibia in that it would be a normal container.

It would have 100% chance of dropping on death, unless an AOL was equipped. It could also be traded. Purely in this sense would be a larger container for coins to save a little bit of cap.

Right fact, this panther is lazy, an ordinary client full of bots, lags and not smooth client are on not well thought out server and want money for crappy server.

I thought unicorns looked different , all in all the pony ponies are pink too xD

Some player feedback regarding consequences of gold converter in pvp has made me reconsider that kind of item.

there should be no way to exchange gold to platinum and platinum to crystal coins. Its big advantage for knights in long term.
