Hi,

so I wonder if there is any possibility to allow edit posts being not premium user?

When I was premium user, I could have do that.

So the question is: is there a group on OtLand (maybe Senators?) that can do that?

If not, maybe create new group or attribute for user that can edit posts?

If I understood correctly if someone paid for premium account, this user is trusted because he paid, so he won't post anything suspicious.

But what about people that actually bring some content to this community? Do they need also to pay?

Hi @slaw

The benefits of Premium users are regularly tweaked to make sure they are useful and valuable but their existence doesn't cripple the experience of regular users.

The Senator group is reserved for ex-Staff members. On the other hand, we do have a group called "Content Editor" which may be more aligned with your use case. We haven't had a lot of traction with that group and most of the moderation is performed by "regular" moderators still.

The funds from Premium membership support Otland's hosting expenses, that's all. Nobody "needs" to pay, it is voluntary. I have now granted you some Premium time in recognition of your contributions while we are figuring out how to better manage permissions of trusted contributors.

Wonderful updates <3 Love to see this type of stuff!

I vouch for @slaw getting vip status, being able to edit not only his own posts but mine aswell!

There are more long timer users with great contributions that also deserve same treatment.
