In my opinion, this is the negative effect otservlist/online lists/online count/spoofers have spawned. 'dedot' mentality. A 7.4 realmap with 25-50 real players is definitely enough to have fun. Nowadays if war teams do not see 1000-1500 players online, they deem the OT dead. Sad state of affairs.I wish the war teams stay away. Its always the same progress: War teams come, player come. War teams quitt, other players thinks the serv is dying.
I wish a server without any teams in the start, so the players will stay because no team is loosing.
An example of a team that is infected with 'dedot' mentality.. a discord im in... (just showing a team who has this mentality, not accusing realera of anything, looks like a nice OT)
I do not care about forcing players to MC to boost the player count, having 1000 players in trainers. The main goal of the OT will be for players to have fun.
Next version of Waropolis there will be no online list or online count, players will have to use VIP to track enemies. There will also be no guild war, as I think it promotes bigger teams. (Skull war mode system only)
There will also be a command called "exiva war". What that command will do is find a player who is close to you outside of protection zone that is in warmode.
"Krazy (level 126 master sorcerer) is far to the north-east." Then you just, "exiva krazy"... It can be used every 15 minutes.
Players will be able to travel between boats(boat trap warning exist prior to travel), pop exiva war, and find a player to kill quickly who is actively participating in war mode.
Removing the online list will also reduce power abuse and rage quits, as teams cannot go on in a kill rampage vs random single-duo players. They will have to check popular spawns.
Highscores can be used to find high-level targets.
I think this is the way forward. If the community hates the idea, I can always reverse it. In my opinion, this exiva war command will be faster to find players to kill rather than going to the online list. If the idea works, I assume it might become the standard.
Im open to debate on this topic.
