Hello there! As many know I have dabbled in TFS, PyOT, and now Black-Tek... Along with AI, Minecraft and much more! I like using AI but I DO ALSO CODE/WRITE BY MY OWN HANDS! haha! So I am curious as to what are users actually looking for in a game server things fun? I am currently running a hybrid version of Black-Tek with the Nightmare map. The client version is currently 10.98 but is up for a change possibly in the future. I might swap back to PyOT but I am not sure as of right now.........So yes, unsure! Also I don't want a copy-cat server so I do refuse to use evo/RL maps...Here is what I currently have but want feedback on the stuff.. So here goes, I will be adding things so make sure to check comments. Website can be found here.

Rate Spec's:
  • Exp rate: 6x
  • Skill rate 3x
  • Magic rate 2x
  • Attack speed: Varies, base is 2x
  • Loot rate: 1x
Dungeons:
Random islands/rooms, timers, possibly mini bosses to spawn, elite environment meaning rare flowers/minerals spawn. These are unlocked different ways such as keys, npc's, books, quest rewards, by levels, by group size and much more.

Gear Scores:
Gear is calculated by its stats, rarity, and tier. These add up as you wear/equip them......Higher tier unlocked rewards, augments, dungeons, quest etc..

Item tiers:
There is over 17 tiers of items... Ranging from useless to Godsend, each tier unlocks certain things.. augmentation slots, attack/defense, abilities.

Monster class's:
Yes, many of us have used or uses monster levels. I do not plan on using a monster level system instead its a monster class system. Monsters range from its default class up to a boss class for now. There is 4 classes normal, enraged, elite, boss.

Monster mechanics:
  • Damage Reflection Scaling: Instead of fixed reflect, it scales with damage received
  • Target Punishment: Monster punishes players that hit it too frequently
  • Adaptive Armor: Monster gradually reduces damage from repeated attack types
  • Combat Intelligence: Monster changes target based on player role behavior
  • Rage Multiplier: Used by Enraged class
  • Combo Attacks: Monster chains attacks automatically
  • Revenge Aggro: Monster becomes stronger against the player who killed it previously
  • Combat Evolution: Monster upgrades its abilities during combat
  • Anti-Kiting System: Monster detects distance abuse
  • Predator Mode: Monster prioritizes lowest HP target automatically
  • Kill Momentum: Monster gains temporary buffs after killing a player
  • Shared Damage (Pack Monsters): If multiple monsters of same type exist
  • Regeneration Interrupt: Monster heals unless continuously attacked
  • Spell Learning: Monster learns player spells during fight

Zones:
Zones as many know are pvp, pz, nologout ect...I have these other kinds also......

  • Exp zone
  • Luck zone
  • Condition zones such as non-magic areas, drain area along with others.
Weather Effects:
Below you will see the weather effects but also effect monster spawns, and player conditions.
  • Rain
  • Snow
  • Mud
  • Fog
  • Lightning
Ambient Spawning:
This is a HUGE system and is a massive way to spawn monsters. It sets conditions for spawning monsters such as the following...
  • Player(s) in area
  • Weather
  • Monster pools (no more stagnate same monster each spawn)
  • World conditions
  • Events

Guild System:
So the old guild system took 4 people to make a guild.. cool... Well I have charters, and guilds! To make a full fledge guild you first must have a charter, this sets the base for your guild. As you grow you go from charter to guild and unlock extras!

That is just some of the things I have so far.. Now lets talk QoL..

Tool tips, Creature and Boss H/P Bars, screen pop ups, Windows for custom things such as my dungeon system, crafting/forging/woodworking/tanner system and many more! I also have other things planned for this.

So I have decided to go with my actual version of PyOT known to me as NexPy. Reason for the is its super flexible, highly editable, and adapts very easy with the future of the games I want to do.... I plan on doing a Tibia server as I mentioned earlier if I get some feedback, but then I also plan on doing a actual game for myself and the Python/Cython setup is much better for it! You can check it out at PyOT (https://otland.net/threads/pyot.294629/) so as you can sort of get the idea of the game engine abilities there. The PyOT project will no longer be released by me as I did not have many people interested in it so please dont ask for it here. Couple fixes that I have done today include:
  • Containers
  • Food
  • Regen
  • Better .sec loading and handling
I do plan on working on a couple other things such as the features listed above. They are in the Black-Tek version so I will migrate them to the python server in stages. First stage includes these:

  • Monster mechanics
  • Gear Score

UPDATE!
I have fixed the following issues in the server or updated them:

  • Stair, Ladder, Holes - Fixed
  • Potions, fluid containers - Fixed
  • Monster AI has been rework - Fixed
  • New items when making character - Fixed
  • Reworked ALL vocation settings - Fixed/Done

I had a issue with the onLook feature not displaying all things, so been working on this for a couple hours.... It is now working atleast 99% of the time! Once this is done I am moving onto houses!
