    I'm guessing you picked bulbsaur? You can kill a few carterpie or ratata first to get a some levels(at least until you have vine whip or leech seed) . Then fishing should be no problem for you. Don't forget you can set a new home town at each pokemon center, that way you don't have to walk...

    Couldn't agree with this more. Same people playing the same 7.4 servers each time there is a reset or new one launched. The 7.4 game design is great, but there is nothing wrong with developing onto that without ruining the core principals.
