You can't release something anywhere on the internet and expect it to be completely safe from copying. Not even on a forum, it's ridiculous. And where should you draw the line? An advertisement thread layout is often pretty similar to another even if there was no copying going on. -

The copyright discussion takes place after something is released and does not touch whether something should be released or not. Btw that guy who posted the new thread is just fucking with you cos you're whining ;) -
Buying Javascript Tutor
It's Microsoft's game development environment, and since they pretty much rule the game industry you're certain that your time won't be wasted. It requires you to learn C# however, but considering both Java and Javascript borrows syntax from C it's a really good way to start off as a game...- c1neast

You are using maps as an example. Imagine if every map was completely open source and everyone could expand it if they wanted to and maybe put their version up on the thread as feedback. Imagine what could be created if hundreds of mappers united and created together, giving credits to everyone... -

If I ignore that you will have to take action against me. The steps should be that a person can copy a thread design if he links back to the original thread. If he does not he can have a period of time to give credits. If he refuses the thread will be removed. I sincerely hope you do not start... -

It's such a short term view, "I paid some money for this so I won't share it". I can't imagine it to be a big sum for a thread layout, so why not take the opportunity to get some free advertising which is probably worth more to the owner than some euros? Don't be dumb selfish. No but when... -

This is indeed stupid overall. Why would you need a "thread copyright"? Is it really the end of the world that someone is using your thread layout? If it's so fucking important put this in the footer: "you may use this thread layout if you give credits to me". That way you get free advertising... -
