    if your using their client everything in that client = copyright if your using their sprites = copyrighted sprites on the flipside.. if you use the open tibia client and use only custom sprites there is nothing they can do (at that point it is a different game) .. for example those pokemon...

    it's not about allowing it... if you want to get players u need to use otservlist... if people would all use other sites it woulden't be a problem but 90% of the players who play otservers log in true otservlist :( (on that note i know the rules are bullshit ) but a otservlist monopoly hurts :/

    cipsoft took some things that became very succesfull on ots (like a central hub - yalahar) but on the other side cipsoft lost ALOT of money because of ot servers... so i'd say they lost out overall but did gain a few things/inspiration from the otservers
