    @Uncle is right, He's not talking about the clouds idea, but the execution I guess. As @Vingart is using many internet texture on his grounds and environment at all, many things doesn't follow a pattern. Clouds give an amazing atmosphere but they need more work.

    Very good start! For AA purpose, blue dot pixels need to be a bit darker and red dot pixels can be a bit lighter There's some more places to fix but those are the most important in my view

    It's a very good start @Quirion! You should put outline over all the sprite, so it will work on every background. Also I recommend you to study about AA. If applied right it will make the blade curves more defined ;) Keep walking!

    It's mostly easy, but it depends the sprite. You can just change the HUE from a sprite then get the sprite in other color scheme. This Blue nexus (first) turned into cyan, green, yellow, orange, red, pink and "purple". Though sometimes It loses some quality, so you have to change/improve it...

    I guess he tried to do it running haha Horses when running have a bit different moves on the legs. They don't move alternating legs 100% but they also don't move using them in parallel. Check some horse videos with 0,25x speed and pauses so you can learn a bit of it. About the animations...

    I'm pretty sure that many of ground textures there were took from internet and resized So I guess he just took some flat water gif from Google, resized and used as sprite
