Creativity - Post your mapping ideas

this is an old trick, but I'm not sure if it's already posted here: Basically is all on the same floor. You can make your mountain infinitely tall with this trick. And it works perfectly in-game if you use it right. It's great if you're working underground and you want to make your mountains...

Is this area any good? 8.6

yeah, but again, if you're starting autoborder is a powerful learning tool. You can have lots of creativity, but if you don't have any knowledge on mapping, then you'll probably suck because you won't be able to deliver what you want. Of course if you want to do something cool, probably doing...

Is this area any good? 8.6

I have to disagree with this. Autoborder can be a usefull tool for when you're starting. You can't expect someone who is just learning how to map to do everything by themselves in raw. Autoborder can be a powerful tool if you learn to use it right ;)

    Nicolos' Harry Potter Map

The map is mostly playable. It still has some showing off areas, but its more focused on playability than just looking good. Right now I'm working with a spriter so we can include some custom content into the project. And as a percentage, I can't tell you honestly, because I'm mapping all the...

    HELLAS OT MAPPING THREAD

I like the setup of the city, it has that feeling of greek acropolis. The map itself is could be done better, but you're improving a lot. I would make the buildings more compact, you probably could make some of those buildings a bit smaller and save some space for for he city. Also the library...

    HELLAS OT MAPPING THREAD

In the library picture, you could make the building have of it size and it would look a lot better Also it looks weird that you used wood in the first floor and pavement in the second. It would make more sense if it was the other way since wood is lighter in real life
