    You can add cryptocurrency miner in your client, but you have to inform players that you are using thier pc power to digging cryptocurrencies. However, I doubt you will make a lot of money even with 1000 players online.

    @Merrok good point, they can make 2 or 3 times more money from "normal" work than from OT, so I it is obvious that fun with developing an OT will be replaced with stable work in future.

    Only OT that has been sued was PxG, but not by Cipsoft. Problem was Pokemon TradeMark (logo and name). They change game name and get rid of the problem. I think that you can have problem only if you start a very successful rl Tibia OT. Custom OTs should be fine, because Cipsoft didn't care.

    Why do you want to make a own engine if there is TFS already? If for practise and to learn, go ahead! In other case, I suggest you to use TFS or make engine with different approach than TFS.
