Decided to release everything I make in this thread until i find someone to map for :(

First little cave i got too lazy to continue with, but as I promised myself to finish everything I start here we are.
(Please let me know if you're using it, I'd love to try the server and see what kind of creatures you put in it)

Mhmm I like these little things.
Not that I will use it but it can give you idea's on how to do certain things, or like what could match well in what area.

Personally it gives coryms feel, or maybe some sort of little orc den.

When you say 'can give you idea's on how to do certain things' in what way do you mean? I'd love suggestions on how I can improve my mapping. I usually start with a small idea and expand further on that, never have any specific mob in mind when I start.
Also you're probably right, not much else but Coryms fit in there :D

If you want to release small sections of map for the general public, then yes you'll need to create a new thread each time.
Or maybe rename this thread to something like "Leo9393's Public Maps"

If you want to just showoff your work for other people to see, then create a thread in mapping showoff.

Something else I made a few days ago. Of course I'll upload the file for it as well!

Well maps seem to be solid, some minor bugs like half sprites with the rubble.
But what I meant was to get inspiration out of other peoples map, so it's always nice to see them.
Especially if you search for certain grounds/objects and you don't know the id/name it's a quick way to find it.

Second map looks good as well. (too me that is, in general I'm not a fan of the whole underwater theme)

Hello bro, I will use it for my 760 server, I will downgrade the map to that version, I hope it does not bother you in advance, thank you very much.

I will post here how it looks with creatures.

Thank you, I did get a bit lazy finishing the last part so that might be the reason for the cut half sprites. I do be a bit scared watching other people's work, always get a bit envious of their craft :D
I had never worked with the underwater theme so decided to give it somewhat of a go, worked out decently imo.

That's awesome! Might take some time to convert it to 7.6 as some of the textures and stuff don't exist there, but I look forward to it! I rather people use the maps instead of me holding on to them forever.

I posted this in the showoff thread yesterday* i believe, but why not give it away as well.
A bit more proud of this one to be honest. And no more of the drying racks as fences! Tiny promise.

Here's another one I posted in the map showoff i decided to finish up to something at the very least. Like I mentioned, refuse to leave things unfinished!

I wanted to make it bigger and further expand on it, but I always have this problem of closing the areas off instead of expanding them, any tips to do the opposite would be amazing!

Using the same picture because I'm too lazy to get new screenshots of the spawn, if you want to see the whole thing just download the map. Oh yeah, If you or anyone you know need any commissions just ask/pm me, i'll happily work for free.

If you're bold enough to personally request a map piece be it a quest or spawn feel free to shoot me a PM. These are quite small map pieces still.


This is something i made a few weeks ago but never got past it's initial stage, so i added some finishing touches and here it is!
I could make a joke about all the pillars I've used, but I'm not sure anyone would be stable enough to stand it.

I really like your style.
If you are searching a project to join, we are working on new edition of Trapera. For the moment we have only map sprites from 8.0 but for the next edition we have in plans to rework the whole engine and get all new sprites.
So If you are okay with working on 8.0, my mapper would be grateful for some help.

Thank you for the kind words, I'm not interested in joining a project for 8.0. I used to do maps for 8.6 a lot, like A LOT and honestly new textures are amazing, love working with them. If you do get additional sprites and feel free to contact me again! Sorry that it's not the answer you're looking for.
Although depending what you're looking for I do have some old pieces I've made a super long time ago for 7.6, 8.0 and etc, but I'm not sure they would meet your standards. You can contact me further via PM's or my Discord: Leo9393#0627

Some decent maps being released, gj and keep it up. Not sure if you have a showoff thread but would suggest it if you haven't got one ;)
