There's too many people if you ask me. One of the reasons me and a few friends quit was because of how hard it is to get a decent hunting spot.
 
Did anyone else notice when it went from 1400 to 1500 today that it was all level one no vocations? So it isn't even a real number. I don't get what the big deal is.

And to think that he would have to register an email to each account to be able to log in. He must have some serious Autism.

The number is representing the amount of characters that are logged in on ShadowCores, so it is a very real and accurate number.

Level and vocation on the online list on the website are not updated until the player has relogged (as the data is fetched from the database, and the database entries for characters are updated when they logout). This means that most of these level 1 characters with no vocation are new players to ShadowCores (or new characters of existing players) who could very likely already be in main and level 50+ at the time you see them as Level 1 with no vocation in the online list. So the number that isn't "real" is the level of these characters, not the players online number.

I'm not claiming that there were 1500 "unique players" online on ShadowCores today, there probably wasn't (but there were definitely over 1400 connections from unique IP-addresses, so even if it wasn't 1500 "unique players" today, there probably will be soon), because a number of them will always be multicliented characters, but that's still the number you use when comparing it to other servers, because people can use multiclient on other servers too.

I do understand where you're coming from Mark, I don't even think I've seen another OT with a record above 500 recently. I'm not saying it's a bad thing that there was 1500 people logged in or anything. But there were like 50 people in the Rookgaard temple when this happened. I checked the online list then ran over and saw in-game. It was clearly a team of people or one person just increasing the record. Which again isn't a bad thing because the server is growing everyday and it would have eventually hit that number with "Unique Players". I hope you understand where I'm coming from on this, because I'm not even sure if I do. Haha.

I'm willing to agree that I've recently not seen another ot over 500, exception being ambera but that seems shutdown so
