2 RAM in one?

ANyone are not familiar with mixing computers should not try to modify a computer >.> unless you got backup........

To clear up what Lovin' said, how many physical ram sticks your computer can handle depends on the motherboard, some can only take 2, some can take 8 or more.

The best thing is to consult your computer manual or open the computer and have a look inside.

Also remember that in a 32-bit OS (Operating System) you can only have 3.5GB ram, no matter how many sticks you put in (You could put in 4 sticks of 2GB each, aka. 8GB, and it would still only recognize 3.5GB), to make your computer be able to access more you need a 64-bit OS.

Then you'd need a very big chassi and that would take too much space, so if you would have 8 ram's, why not just buy a ram which is better that has like 4 GB Ram and put 2 4 GB Ram's in your computer and you will have 8 Gigabytes of Ram. (Notice that you need to have a 64-bit operative system for this like windows vista 64-bit or linux), and you need to have space and your motherboard needs to be supported for it.

@ Xaroth, why not? That's how you learn it, you gotta try out some stuff. If you can't get it working, then stay patience. Have a computer beside you and search on the internet for help or ask on the forums (doing it in that way would help a lot) and soon you will be able to do it manually and it won't take longer than 10 minutes to put it inside the computer.
