I was wondering tonight, how the group access (not flags!) and account type works with characters. How player is affected by:
- set group_id of player
- set group_id of account
- set type of account.
Also, how does the Type works? Does it gives some priviligages? Or account group?
Im really confused, or more like I dont understand it, since I have set access 2 for Tutor (group_id = 2), and then after changing character group and account group to 2 + account type to 2 (since I got configured commands like that), the tutors didn't gain skulls while attacking a player, and I couldnt attack them as a God (group_id = 5, access = 5, set to player and account, type = 5)!
I tried to 'remove' the type configurement, by downgrading all commands to accountType=1, and all accounts to type=1, but then I couldn't /a 2 with God on a water tile or login with few chars at the same time (and before I could do it!), though I had group 5 and all flags the same.
This question is mostly for Tala, since he knows the code the best...
Could You explain usage of it?
I need at least 3 types of accounts (player, helper, team) and 5 (maybe even 6, since im planning a CM-like position) access levels (player, tutor, senior tutor, gamemaster, god).
So I need to know how commands and priviliages are affected.
Thanks!
EDIT: Nvm, I found out in source how it works. Only thing is make me wonder is: What's the use of group_id for an account?
EDIT2: Ok, /me donkey, I already know. Close or delete this thread
