Any Otlander Survivalists? DayZ Alpha

Hey guys! Well Ive been playing DayZ (actively) for a few days and since none of my friends has bought the game yet I was wondering if any of you has it.

I recorded a little -test- video for you to have a glimpse of it and if you love this game genre DayZ is a great game to try and have fun with. There are constant updates and servers get packed with up to 40 people roaming around the post-apocaliptic themed map.

as stated in the title it is an Alpha release, the game has glitches and bugs so unless you understand this do not buy it if you expect a 100% finished game. nevertheless I still enjoy it.

I'm mostly playing Australian - NZ servers. but I can join west coast US and some UK servers if you're not a hostile player and rather someone who actually plans a good hunt for loots lets do it, ive got some good weapons ready to play!!!

I have it but don't play it, mostly because I prefer the ability to use vehicles etc, particularly aircraft which current the alpha has none of as far as I know.

Yeah, Ive read there are some mods for vehicles. I would like to be able to use cars as well however not as in BF and other games, rather I would expect vehicles being damaged and players having to find pieces of car in good conditions in order to make them work because it is supposed to be a fight for survival. So far Ive visited around 10 cities or small towns just running it isnt that difficult to move along the map and it still adds a bit of excitement having to prepare for long runs and shit....

recently I made my way into a military Airfield and no, there were no jets or planes whatsoever, I doubt they will implement such vehicles at least in the near future! If you give it a go again just let me know and maybe we can go on a loot hunt.
